Benefit From BR Compression! | War Thunder

As I've pointed out previously, I think BR compression is one of the main issues plaguing War Thunder. Instead of being a complete parasite and using the F-104 to show you why, I decided to use the Lim-5p at its new (& totally improved) BR of 8.7.
I don't find too much enjoyment playing absurdly strong vehicles in this game. That being said, in small doses so as to not ruin everyone else's time... it can be an absolute blast. Consider flying the lim-5p out if you want to have some fun. I also wanna add, for whatever reason, I saw mostly downtiers throughout my testing/gameplay for this thing. Enjoy!
If you need a squadron in game, join the =Nimbo= squadron! The only requirement is at least 5 games in any realistic battles game mode. Make sure you stay active if you do join, or you will receive das boot- if that happens feel free to rejoin anytime if you plan on being active. We've got around 10 more slots, so get in while you can! :)

Ah yes, a MiG-17 with an afterburner and (In my opinion) better guns, which is at the SAME BR as the BASE MiG-17. Nice one gaijin

Arcade is wild right now. Somehow every match with a lineup of Mig9’s, SU9, LA15, MiG 15 are fighting entire matches of harriers and star fighters. Good luck catching anyone

2:05 that wasnt teammate. Damage indicators show it was an explosion and i find it harder to believe that an r3s hit someone from almost 3km as opposed to the plane just being too close when it exploded

Great eye- after looking again I think I just shot one of the enemy's bombs and it exploded. There were a couple of teammates (can see them on the minimap) above that I didn't see who might have shot a missile, not just the guy 3km behind, but I think you're right. I think I shot one of the A4's bombs, lol. 🤷happens
My favorite overtired Mig is the shenyang f5, it's just a mig 17 with a non spectacular afterburner and worse aim-9b but has to fight supersonics and all aspect missiles. Fun as hell thoigh
i love this plane. i need to get 4 more rank 5 planes and then i have it. sad that i need to skip early jets tho. it is what it is.
