What they believe is a matter of debate. Historically, they absolutely reject such a belief, though you will find some within who do. It is more likely you will find most Episcopalians would deny the real presence. Their own founding documents describe the holy Mass as a blasphemous fable and dangerous deceit. Regardless of belief, however, wishing it were so does not make it so. Nor do external appearances or names. Having rejected the priesthood at the Reformation, today all they have is a piece of bread.

@@rickfernandez7947 This is entirely false on all fronts. The 1549 Book of Common Prayer expressly calls the service for the Eucharist "the Mass". The Articles of Religion say the Body of Christ is "given" then "taken" then "eaten" so if Christ was not truly present then how could you give it? You can't give a real absence, but only a real presence. Again, the Mass is not a "blasphemous fable and dangerous deceits" but the "sacrifice of the masses" as the Article reads. It is condemning the idea that you can buy and sell different masses for different intentions like releasing dead people from purgatory, etc. For instance, in Rome - before Pope Francis, you could go to a side chapel and make a "donation" to a priest to do a private mass for some intention, and this would be happening with like 30 priests all saying different masses bought and paid for. This is the error that is being condemned. As for the claim Anglican rejected the Priesthood at the Reformation is indeed nothing but slander. The Preface for the Ordinal says "It is evident unto all men, diligently reading Holy Scripture and ancient Authors, that from the Apostles' time there have been these Orders of Ministers in Christ's Church,-Bishops, Priests, and Deacons...And therefore, to the intent that these Orders may be continued, and reverently used and esteemed in this Church.." so where exactly does this say they reject Priesthood? The Latin word here is "Sacerdos" and not "Presbyteros" so you can't say it is some Protestant meaning. Your house of lies was quickly just demolished.

@@devinlawson2208 I accept that this is YOUR private belief, but that is not the mainstream belief in any period of Anglican theology. Simple historical research confirms this. The vast majority of Anglicans/Episcopalians would reject your opinions. The English reformers did not just reject certain abuses in Catholic teaching, they rejected Catholicism itself and replaced it with a national church that blended ideas from Catholicism, Lutheranism, and Calvinism. It is a heretical miasma of conflicting and contradictory ideas that are the natural result of having rejected the See of Peter and replaced it their own personal opinions. Until the reformation, there was only a Catholic Church in England, not an English Catholic Church. The national church created under Henry VIII and his Protestant successors is not the continuation of the Catholic Church in England but a novel substitute that rejected and lost the priesthood.

This Episcopal service blatantly contradicts the Anglican 39 Articles of Religion: “The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper was not by Christ's ordinance reserved, carried about, lifted up, or worshipped” (Article XXVIII).

The Anglican/Episcopalian church rejected and lost the priesthood: www.newadvent.org/library/docs_le13ac.htm. If they want Eucharistic adoration, they should return to the Catholic Church, not the imposter church started by Henry VIII.

It is but . That are not in mortal sin because they likely don't know any better. Instead of experiencing the "real presence" they unfortunately invoke the "real absence". Funny, if it weren't so sad .. for them.

Episcopalians do this? They ought to stop this idolatry and return to the traditional Catholic faith.
