He truly is such an adorable cinnamon roll. 🥺 I love his relationship with Eloise, his faces in the background of every conversation just looking either confused or pulling funny faces. He truly is the funniest Bridgerton out of them all and needs MORE SCENES. He's adorable asf. I'm DOWN BADDD. Benedict’s actor looked at the role, saw the vast emptiness of the character and said, “Fine, I’ll do it myself.”

Anthony has controlling, protective big brother vibes but Benedict is the brother you’d come to when you really need someone. He’s paving his own way and is the only Bridgerton who fully supports and understands Eloise. Good vibes from him.

"Come Sister, the cakes at these occasions are surprisingly good" LOL!!! He may not be the brother you want but he's certainly is the one you need. Benedict is my fav!

@@janemoar5168 I like book 3 because of how cheesy romantic it got. No major spoilers if you don't want, but the initial premise is that Benedict's story is a Cinderella story. I also enjoyed the female romantic interest in the book, I found her to be kind of crafty and bold. Bold for the time period that is. So, if they keep that character as his love interest I would be interested to see if they make her bolder and more strong headed.

This actor is absolutely perfect for the character, the way he plays it, is exactly how I imagined Benedict in Julia Quinn’s books. Really looking forward to his season since it’s one of my favorite books in the series. Hopefully Sophie’s character will be played as perfect as Luke Thompson is for Benedict!! And let’s be for real.. Anthony didn’t catch my eye in season one but boy oh boy in season two… I’m in love with a gay man. Image how smitten we’ll all be over Benny boy!!

I have a feeling that Sophie would be a stephen, they said the show would not following the books 100% and since there is no gay caracter in season 1 and 2 there has to be in the next seasons he is the best candidate for that in every new show is at least one even when the book is completely different. Also i love Anthony/Jonathan to he is perfect sadly for me he is gay, why do i have crush on guys and then they turnout to be gay, Matt Boomer, Wentwort Miller Luke Evans all of them also i have a feeling that Ben Barnes is gay to maybe i turn them

@@82nesse , I think there is more of a chance of them turning Colin gay than Benedict, whose character is known to be somewhat of a loveable rake. Whatever, I'm all in. I also agree that most of us didn't fall for Anthony until Season 2, when he blew Simon out of the water. As much as I enjoyed Simon in Season 1, I never missed him in Season 2.

I'd rather have him as a side character for one more season, because as soon as characters are done with their own love season, they seem to get a lot less screen time.

i do love how apart from s2's opening scene, his bow is always tied unevenly. it shows his unruly nature, it's such a smart detail

It’s cause they imparted all of book Colin’s charm and humor into Benedict’s character in the show. I agree with you. I loved Colin in the books, but Benedict in the show is fantastic, which is saying something since I find show Colin a bore and book Benedict a brute.

What I also find amusing of the casting is that I could totally see the actor for Benedict handling the role of Anthony perfectly, but I can’t see the actor for Anthony taking the role of Benedict. Purely on their faces lol

Having read all Bridgerton books, including Sybilla and Georgiana Bridgerton (Edmund Bridgerton’s siblings) it’s safe to say they captured the whole brother dynamic between Anthony and Benedict(who gets his artistic side from Alexander Bridgerton (His Father’s mother). I cannot explain how much I love Julia Quinn, I’ve read all her books😊😊
