I know that London's streets are very narrow and busy, but I think they could carry more than a Double-Decker bus... So it isn't a very clever idea :-\

Shorter wheelbase than a 12m single decker and better turning circle so this ‘roads too tight’ is a load of rubbish.

Bendy buses are amazing: they are saving people in the rush hour, they are fast on the highways. They are amazing. They are actually more comfortable buses than not bendy. Seem like UK has not enough infrastructure (too narrow streets) for them and sh*tty maintenance of buses

I think the bendy bus are good for airport that the easiest way, sad that Heathrow airport hasn't got any, is Heathrow airport in london or out of london

2021 edit: Boris Johnson buses are not helping either. They still have fare evasion and now even more cash is going down the drain

The bendy buses were withdrawn from London, but there were still buses that looked like them, Mercedes Benz Ciatro O530 non articulated

bandy buses are impossible to drive, every turn, except on airport, is hard work

Well fun fact thats why there is this special license known as PCV license which is used to drive these big dangerous vehicles.

I hope in the year time they remove the routemaster soon, I hate routemaster, boring no engine no kickdown boring, aren't good than the old ones
