You know you are an inspiration to others, I can only say that you have the attitude that should be admired, I'm between that rock and hard place. Praise the lord.

Thanks Ty, I really appreciate you. I will try to bend and not break. I’ve been dealing with another chronic condition for many years and then the whole prostate thing started. Had the prostatectomy last month and going to get the PSA tested in a couple of months to see if I need radiation. Thanks for being there for me, Ty.

To extend your football "bend, don't break defense" analogy: Maybe when my prostate cancer jouney is over, I might not "win" 27-0. Maybe it's closer to 27-14 or 27-21. But I still intend to beat it. That starts with my "pre-habilitation" prep work pre-surgery. Kind of like summer two-a-day workouts. My game-day surgery is in 2 weeks. I'll be trained and ready. Thanks for your inspiration.

Thank you for sharing. I went back and forth on whether to post that video because i thought some might think it to be cheesy, but since it came from such a real place, I decided to post it. I really like how you are approaching this, and I wish you the very best on your surgery and its outcomes. What day are you going in for surgery?

@@Flyty911Two weeks from today. Been in training for 3 months. Good muscle strength and excellent cardio capacity. Core in best shape of my life. Keegles are decent, but improving. Helmet goes on July 5, and the game begins.

@user-wx1fz2md7p Your positive attitude is infectious. I am hopeful that your positive vibe will permeate throughout our entire community. If possible and if you are not already, be sure to take a moment or two and enjoy these moments before surgery. I always say, "I wish someone had told me that"..
