Ben Simmons Deserves His Failure
Спорт
NBA Star Ben Simmons has fallen out of the Brooklyn Nets rotation and is actively losing his NBA career. This is what happens when you can't shoot and don't learn to shoot.

He gave up man plain and simple. He don’t wanna ball anymore. I am more sympathetic towards mental health than anyone and even I can recognize that Philly became a toxic situation for him because of his lack of work ethic. When fans started to call him out, he flipped it on them so he could get paid 30M to not work

Ben Simmons is a perfect example of what I'm t looks like when a narcissist hits the wall and realizes he is not the player or person he believed he was. That's why he is laying down and trying like Hell to find a reason to give himself an out so he can blame everything on. Because he refuses to admit he is the problem. He should look to Fultz and how he is rebuilding his career and take this reset to work his way back or just keep on giving up walk away because if he doesn't play the team will sue for the money on his contact to voided and paid back what he has got setting around like a spoiled brat.

Judging which players will be very good is possibly the hardest thing in sports. Great natural talent in a young player is a siren-song that leads many teams to crash on the rocks of failure. They are called intangibles for a reason!
Seeing pictures of his childhood explains everything.

i just think that anyone in his position would be grateful and make most of the opportunity given to him... i know virtually everyone in this comment section would work hard and improve if we had his physical gifts... it's sad how far he has fallen, and i feel bad for the fanbase that believed in him... this is a betrayal of the highest order...
I like how most of these highlights are him dunking from the same spot he passed from lol
I have to say this is the best breakdown of Ben Simmons. I never thought of character issues wow it's a shame. You broke it down better than I lol, wow right in front of my face character issues.
I will never understand if this is his full time job and he plays ball on the low end for 25 hours a week for atleast a decade how he can’t shoot, shooting isn’t genetic it’s learned.
I love it. He was always a arrogant diva in Philly. He refused to work on his game and he walked around arrogant with a smug attitude as if his game was so great he didn’t have to improve or work on his jumper. He tried to sabotage the 76ers when he was the reason they lost. He’s everything we thought he was surrounded by yes men and ego I still can’t wait till he’s the 15th man on the bench. Great for her! He still hasn’t gotten better since his rookie season….
This video is low key hilarious
They pay these athletes wayyyy to much. Back in the day players needed to play 5 to 6 great years to get 20 to 30 Ms. Nowadays they get 150 Ms before stepping on the court. Some average players make more in 3 years then legends did their entire career. It's pathetic
If you play professionally you have to deal with alot of scrutiny. Some people can't handle that aspect and under perform, some just can't handle it at all and get kicked from the league. To be a hof player, you have to be tough as nails.
Everything you said in this video was SPOT ON.
Ben Simmons thought he was God’s gift to basketball at LSU. He never improved from there
Fr fr it just seems like he’s just collecting the bag til he can’t no more 🤷🏽♂️
Great video, the sound of paper (or whatever it is) each time you go to the next clip isn’t my favorite sound😂 but that’s just my opinion, keep it up 👍
He’d rather be a male model and a streamer than a basketball player. It’s been obvious since his time with LSU that he just doesn’t care that much about the game
Imagine letting a man that will never know you exist occupy this much of your brain power
As an Australian we don't claim him. He doesn't embody the Aussie spirit of a hard worker
Just because someone is lazy, doesn’t mean he’s a bad person. He’s going to make his money, and probably leave basketball when his contract is over or bought out. Good for him. Don’t hate on the man.
The year he was in college, I remember how people kept hyping that 2016 LSU team because of him. They got exposed quite badly in the SEC tournament, and missed the NCAA tournament.
You make dope videos bro, but you gotta fix that audio
i was at that Celtics game where he reversed dunked the put back he used to be a beast
Ben just shows how flawed their contracts are. Imagine if you got hired at a job and they gave you millions for signing with them. How many of you would still work? Most of us would quit. That’s why we get paid weekly. Biweekly. Monthly. Etc. So we have to keep showing up.
bro great video. get rid of those mic pops and it's a 10/10
It’s just so sad if he had the jump shot this convo would be different he probably would be one of the greats it was just one side of his game like dang
Ben Simmons got every opportunity, every second chance, and all the time in the world to improve. But as soon as he faced a bit of adversity, he caved and shirked away from the moment. He’s a spoiled little rich kid who got thrown into the real world and couldn’t handle it.

When Simmons was in H.S. I was telling people that he was going to be the next great player, the next LeBron, the next Magic, The next M.J. I can't believe he averaged 3 points a game last month. Will someone please find this guy a good Doctor?
He's unmotivated. Period. Seems like basketball came easy for him as he's a marchup nightmare. He just never seemed to take the game seriously. He had been coddled for so long that the moment he got criticized he couldn't handle it.
Inevitable was a tough one to get through
That hawks series truly messed him up mentally. He just never recovered from that.
once his contract expires he's gone
He needs to come to the Warrior's. He won't have to ever shoot
Can you imagine if Ben Simmons played on MJ's Bulls? He wouldn't have choked in the playoffs because MJ would've sensed his mental weakness and destroyed him before the end of training camp.
I don’t know why people are so hard on Ben. If you take away the whole winning imperative, he’s actually the greatest of all time. 😂
The monstars took Ben Simmons basketball powers away😢
