Thanks so much! He has portrayed so many wonderful roles - wanted to show off some of his other work, although I feel the same, Richard Poole is very much missed. ❤️

Thanks for watching! ♥️♥️ They are: Armstrong and Miller Show, Worst Week of my Life, Moving Wallpaper, Razzle Dazzle, Malice Aforethought. They are available on DVD, but Malice Aforethought is a rare dvd and has two versions - PBS/Mystery and the one rated M. Also there were a few clips from interviews. 😊😍

To begin, sorry for my english. I'm from Germany. But I am a big Fan of Ben Miller. My favorite is of course Richard Poole. But he is a great Actor, a lovely Comedian and a sweet Writer. I'm allways on smiling when I see him. He is of course a hot Men, but his Eyes are going deep in my Heart. I love to see him. And I give my left Hand for a Kiss from him

@@lindacourt9685 Oh good! I was worried I had offended his fans by showing his earlier work in this way. Would have made the video private rather than cause upset to viewers or to Ben himself, it's the last thing I would have wanted. Thanks for replying back 😌☺️🤗

I dont think I could possibly not like what he does. I first like him if course in death in Paradise. Then in primevil, so I'd never seen him much. Prof T. Got a dvd to watch. He's my favourite actor.

After death in paradise I watched Armstrong and Miller and some episodes of professor T but he keeps coming back as Richard Poole in my mind .it was good to see him happy and enjoying himself .I loved it . Some more lighthearted videos please . Thanks

It's beyond tragic that they were never able to reach that point in DIP and so many of us wish they had. I wondered whether to include some of their scenes with glances etc, but have done so many videos with DIP clips and wanted this video to be just about Ben's other roles. He's an amazing actor - have you seen many of his other shows/films? 😊

@@kelsiaramaple For some reason, I was always put off. I think the Miller/Armstrong thing isn't my cup of tea. And this kept me back from D.I.P. Until I caught the end of a D.I.P. re-run (S4) whilst waiting for the news. Loved it. I'm a complete sucker for a romantic subplot, which I found in D.I.P.

@@richard141724 I understand, A & M isn't for everyone. In the last year I've watched all of DIP for the first time and then bought as many dvds as I could which included Ben Miller as I loved his acting in DIP. The character of Richard Poole in particular was a favourite and one of his best roles. He was outstanding (and they all were) in Malice Aforethought, which is now a rare dvd with two versions - the Mystery/PBS version or the one rated M. He plays a sinister character who has an affection for the ladies (putting it mildly). The Worst Week of my Life was a box set of 2 series and a Christmas special series, easily available and well worth it for the laughs. Was crying laughing, also Ben and his onscreen wife (Sarah Alexander) had great chemistry on the show - they've acted together in A & M and obviously comfortable with each other. Moving Wallpaper was also a different role for Ben and led to many funny scenes. Razzle Dazzle was a heartwarming film. It's just tragic that one of the best characters on DIP (Richard) never got to share romance with the amazing Camille. It's a magic formula that is rare in TV. Sorry for the long reply. ☺️🤗

@@richard141724 Thanks so much! I'm not sure what to do with the channel at the moment as I'm currently disputing two copyright blocks as advised by BBC Studios from their email, because I asked why they blocked the latest ones and not the others which they've already allowed. Just wanted to know their 'rules' on fair use, but if when they review the 2 videos they uphold the blocks, I'm not making any more DIP videos beyond S1 and S2. I might start making videos about Ben Miller's other shows and there are plenty. No-one likes adverts, but they're not for myself - I will never apply for monetisation on this channel as it's not my content. If it means videos are allowed with their ads, I'm happy if the viewers are. I just like making videos, it's a hobby and I'm slowly learning video editing along the way. :)
