Yeah back when Triple J was actually pretty awesome. Shame that it has become what it is now; I'm not referring so much to the music, but the hosts are as irritating as those on commercial stations. It's as if it is the fatted calf is almost at the end of its life, awaiting slaughter -- which is privatization of course.

Tony Fantasia It's still awesome, it's actually improved since I made the previous comment. But it has been awesomer. They just shouldn't try and compete with the commercial station shock jocks, no body likes them anyway, they simply don't need to do this. The Liberals will try their best to destroy it, and it'll start with budget cuts, then it'll be privatised, then it'll be unrecognisable. As Whitlam said, Maintain the rage.

Horrorshow, an australian band, does an amazing cover of this song ft Jane Tyrell.

I miss the 90's 2 ..... n I was only just born out of the 90's
the song is not actually about cigarettes but america would probs not pick up on that so he made it out to be for the USA. its actually about being in a relationship that is bad but he just stays in it.
I likey this song
warning: lungs were harmed during the making of this video.
love hina.
the australian version has so much more character. american's have always missed the point. this video has no charm. this song is fantastic. i miss the nineties.
I want a TV embrace!
yeah i know i want to see that one but i cant find it
Stop, look, listen. From chord 1 to the final an enormous and well developed song. Love not only lost but nuked. Yet we still seem to find ourselves wrecked in our next love sojourner. Penny Lane = sisters. Stand by it. Same theme.
i quit about 2 months ago :D watching this makes me want one though
Finally found this :) happy day

when she's putting the cigarettes in her jacket it looks like she's about to pull a gun out and hold up the store - it's a metaphor for the name of the song - "cigarettes will kill you".
1998.. and i listen this song 2020
Absolutely Australian.
The aussie version of this clip is so much better. This is my first viewing of this clip. What were they thinking with this clip. great song and great artist.........
It's funny how some people react by affirming that they like to smoke or by telling that they are just lighting up a cigarette - as if they just resisted a very clever brain washing scheme...
'in playlist Favorite videos'
last night the neighborhood doctor told me i need to quit smoking or else i wont live past thirty, then gave me two inhalers and some antibiotics. sucks.
can somebody give me he link for the australian version please.?
Why can't a find anywhere to download this?
haha I love how the American video takes everything interesting an original about the original video and turns it into a bland and cliched video, plus adds in the literal reference to cigarettes just to make sure the audiences know they're watching the right video. Why do American publishers have such little respect for their audiences?
