I started watching the 700 club in 1976 and Ben was a great host! He is now with our Lord and Saviour Jesus

Ben is wonderful. He represents the "glory days" of the 700 Club, back when the hosts were Pat, Ben and Danuta; they were on fire🔥🔥🔥-- saving souls all over the place. There were Christian counselors operating phone lines back then & on ANY given day you can call for help. They would stay on the line with you for an hour if necessary, as long as it took for you to feel better about yourself and your relationship with the Lord.

Was a young guy back in 1975 going to college - Ben's testimony and gregarious nature was a treasure, Pat was highly educated - the two together was a beautiful thing.

When I first heard of Ben Kinchlow (age 23) it was channel surfing the TV in 1978, just after getting married, and while I was attending Baptist Bible college in San Dimas, CA. I had been attending for about 4 and 1/2 semesters at the time and learning (saved in 1975) and now having questions about the prophetic, Acts 2, the Book of Revelation, re, what it meant, where it fit, then and for today. But the answers the college teachers and pastors I sat under gave, seemed to never bring peace or satisfy my soul, but, circumvent around the core truth, to what I was actually reading in the scripture, and could not flee from. The Gifts of the Spirit were not taught us (not allowed with Baptist doctrine), but I'm reading the WORD and not finding anywhere where the WORD said the Spirit stopped giving gifts (as young in the LORD, I hadn't even reached the threshold of the Gifts Jesus gave yet either). Being newly married and moving off campus into our new apartment, we actually had a ("Oh my" grin) TV given to us. One morning while surfing the TV, I stopped on the 700 Club channel (a no-no in that Baptist realm at the time). Ben and Pat were talking and Ben stops in the middle of the conversation, as he did many times, with a Word of Knowledge (how God sees the past, not man, and present of a person, place or thing or the culmination), followed by a Word of Wisdom (God's solution, not man's, to the future of what HE just revealed). When Ben looks at the camera and share's what he saw (I believe it was about-and-to a particular woman watching the show), I got so religiously upset (a bit of false teaching volcanizing) and said "There's no way he (Ben) can know that!" I'm thinking (flesh) he's got to be setting up the situation prior, because I also couldn't believe Ben had a solution of what God was about to do for this woman. Now I don't know what to do...for one reason...the peace I had that manifested every time I watched Pat and ben minister in this manner. They weren't pulling people from the studio crowd to speak to them, they were speaking out to someone in the TV audience world. Then two days later I was even more stirred because I can't stop watching, and the woman the called out and prophesied to, called the show and testified it was her. Well, that was the beginning of a path change, and the more questions I asked at college became even more negative...but he SEED of the WORD in action, by Ben and later Pat, took root, and the LORD eventually moved my wife and I into a prophetic environment in Denver, CO, by the Holy Spirit leading. None of that came without battles, and shedding off what we thought was right thinking. When we agreed with the Triune God and HIS WORD, (that's what real repentance is, you agree with God when HE reveals HIS Truth, then use the measure of faith HE gave you to act and walk by the Spirit according to that Truth), the gifts of the Spirit started to manifest in us. God used Ben to shake the false doctrine and foundations of religion in me...and I'm blessed to this day because of that! PTL thank you Papa God, LORD JESUS, HOLY GHOST, thank YOU!

In the early 1990s I was watching 700 Club and praying. Ben said, "The Lord is healing you, and it has something to do with peanut butter!" And he laughed slightly. My forehead was itching and I thought it could be a peanut butter allergy.

Dat, Bennie is one sad muddah. Yukking with ol' Pat-fool on the telling. It's been fun, but all this, I-am-high-on-Jesus has to end. I hope, Pat's got funeral insurance.

I wanna know why Daniel Tiger has to have a tiger-momma. Why can't he have a rhinoceros for for a momma? Answer me that! Pat makes no mention of this in his report to the nation. Why can't the 700 Club be more like Daniel Tiger's neighborhood? When someone drops an apple in the street, Daniel picks up the filthy thing and gives it back to the vendor. The neighborhood stinks when the 700 club isn't doing it's job.
