So well put! I used to listen to Ben Harper a lot when I was depressed and it really made me feel not alone. Now Ben too seems happier, in, as you put it so well, a calm, serene way, with nuances other emotions threading through. Glorious. In an understated way. Again Ben speaks to my soul. In gratefulness to Ben and you too Silviu.

I put this on while making a fire in my fireplace and ended up sitting on the floor staring into the fire for like 20 minutes haha

I used to work there at Folk Music Center for Charles and Dorthy. I remember you as a little kid. I got to do a lot of what you are doing. Sometimes Charles and I took the instruments out to play at schools. Best job ever. Thanks Ben.

@@MrOneL24 the thing about KZread as compared to tidal or Spotify is the ability to look for covers of songs, acoustic versions, etc. days I don’t want to listen to music I’ve even found myself with historical documentaries playing in my headphones. It’s all around worth it. It’s basically the price of a Starbucks coffee lol

I would love Ben to put together songs for a holiday album. Sound and poems that bring back childhood memories and the hopefulness of innocence.

I have great memories of seeing a young Ben Harper at a music festival in SLC for the first time. I remember yelling up to the stage, "You're pretty great, kid!" during a sound check. We were both kids at the time, I suppose. He invited us up to his hotel room for pizza and to hang out, but we didn't take him up on it, lol. I had no idea who he was or who he'd become. Wonderful talent. Big love for this new album. I've got my copy.
