Totally agree! I am driving 4 hours to see Ben and Noel in Plainview TX Sept 17 and Marty is playing a half hour from my house the same night. Nothing against Marty as I am sure his show is great as well. I just enjoy hanging with Ben and Noel!

To me Ben is the closest to what Merle sounded like per the original release of this song. A person that is a personal friend of Noel argued this point.

Gene Watson is still touring and creating albums. He's pretty darn good and real country. He should already be in the CM Hall of Fame.

He’s a picker for sure. He can play that guitar

I really wish Noel would lean some harmony instead of singing double lead. Would sound much better. If you dont know how to do harmony, dont sing on top of someone.
