I keep coming back to this video year after year. Something about this performance has really stuck with me.

I'm convinced Ben Gibbard will be the greatest songwriter I'll ever hear during my time on Earth. Beautiful, poetic, and exerptly crafted lyrics.

I'm not religious but Ben's voice, lyrics, music combined is the closest to a spiritual experience I've ever had.

This version makes me want Willie Nelson to cover this song. Sounds right in his wheelhouse.

I like it. Great live energy. The song could get really sappy as a solo acoustic encore. He added a country swing to it. He's also a really good guitar player. I didn't know how solid he was.

It's funny because he recently did a show where he only took audience requests, and this was one of the songs that stumped him and he couldn't remember how to play.

I'm unsure if I'd say this is better. They're both very equal and either can go better with my mood. In regards to other Postal Service songs on acoustic guitar? Such Great Heights unfortunately gets worse but Brand New Colony sounds utterly brilliant.

Doesn't quite capture the melancholic feel of the album version

the chord progression is way to cheery for the emotion of this song. i love ben and his voice is great here however
