With over 74,000 hard tickets sold, sold-out shows in four continents, and standout performances at iconic venues including London’s O2 Academy Brixton, UFO Velodrom Berlin, New York’s Brooklyn Mirage, Sydney’s Metro Theatre and NSDM Amsterdam; Ben Böhmer’s ‘Begin Again’ live tour may just be the artist’s biggest accomplishment to date.
Earlier this year, Ben played a brilliant, sold-out show at London’s renowned Roundhouse. The event was entirely filmed by Liam Bream and Paul Bryan, who have previously directed live films for Bonobo, Nils Frahm and Caribou. Anjunadeep now presents both the mixed audio from the performance as a live album, available to stream now on all DSPs, and Liam Bream’s stunning video, premiering on Ben Böhmer’s KZread channel.
Ben’s album ‘Begin Again’ has accumulated over 72M streams across DSPs in just over a year, and has seen Ben reach further into the wider music scene than ever before. In January, four tracks from the album were reworked by renowned violinist and composer Rob Moose, and subsequently, the album was remixed by some of the most accomplished names in the dance scene, including HAAi, The Blaze and Barry Can’t Swim.
A former railway engine turntable, The Roundhouse became a significant venue for the UK’s underground scene in the 70s, hosting shows from iconic bands such as Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Clash, The Doors. In recent years artists like Tycho, Max Cooper and Bicep have performed live at the venue - a significant list, and a testament to Ben Böhmer’s meteoric rise in the music scene.

I sometimes wonder how many musicians get absolutely sick of playing their own music. I do not wonder this about Ben Bohmer. It looks like he's endlessly analyzing his music and exploring new possibilities every time he performs. He is a craftsman to the highest degree. We should all strive to find something that so completely consumes our attention as music production does with Ben.

There was a massive storm that day, all trains got cancelled and somehow I found a ticket and witnessed it live ❤

BEN!! You are the epitome of my life in music! I love so many of your tracks it’s overwhelming to think about! I say this because I’ll be at the Odeza show in LA June 7th ENTIRELY to see you play! I’m giving up a Hawaii trip to go! I can’t afford the tickets so I’m having a family member buy them which I’ll pay back over time with interest. Honestly, his music is just too good to be true. I got to see him live a month ago in Zürich, the set was so moving and people were just in tears and hugging it out at the end. Amazing !

Once in Dubai bar i discuss with other Dj. He ask me who is my favorite Dj. When i answer Bohmer he almost start "cry". He said he bough ticket for his concert and its was cancelled, bcs "Ben have depression". He was so upset he didnt see performance. And now i know why😍😍

Seeing him live at the Brixton Academy in October this year was one of the most powerful musical/visual/emotional experiences I've had in years. Total master of his art. I'm listening to this right now whilst still working in my office and the fade from "Submission" into "Phases" from 57:30 onward is utterly sublime Every single hair on the back of my neck standing up. Totally mindblowing.

Discovered Ben 3 years ago, have seen him here in Seattle. His music is almost its own language with happiness, melancholy, triumph, and rising joy. It's beautiful.

Ben Böhmer, Franky Wah, Sultan + Shepard, Nora En Pure, Anyma, Shingo Nakamura, Notre Dame etc amazing producers of melodic house. Now is the golden age of this genre, this is my opinion.

Couldn't agree more. It get's boring in different forums reading about "good old trance" and such. I mean that stuff is still being made. But the many different ways that electronic music has evolved are really amazing, and these masters of melodic are my favorite branch of the electronic tree.
