I had a chance to play with Ben when he came to Singapore for a fight. I had no idea who he was when he messaged our page about playing a round. I asked him why he was in Singapore and he said, "a work trip." I took him out on our tonal course and he threw farther than anyone I'd seen up close. Super nice guy, and a great representative of the sport.

Watching Askren throw is proof positive that DG is a sport that requires its own set of skills. I've seen countless athletes from other sports who can't throw as well as a lot of Ams I play with.

@jamesstricklin4056 Indeed, I do. The point of my initial comment wasn't about Askren being good or not. We've gotten derailed. I've recently seen Baseball players, Pro Football players and I've personally seen athletes from all over the spectrum who were decent to good in their fields playing disc golf. They're typically just OK. My comment was to that point. This is its own sport, other skills don't really translate. I'm sure Askren is OK, I've seen videos of him throw. He throws like an average player. We all have ups and downs, but any of us who practice only this sport have seen good athletes from somewhere else thinking they can "throw a frisbee." And we've all seen how that goes. Merry Christmas.

I have two things to comment here: 1) very hard to choose a favourite between the pros, but there's Matty O, so it's kind of a no brainer, 2) Terry is holding that water bottle like a mic, maybe you should've given him a for example SM58 without a cable to hold on to, so he could feel more at home! :D

Don't get it twisted, AB's partner on hole 1 throws FAR AS SH*T. I walked with his card at that event in MP40 (i caddied someone else). He's only been playing a few years, is 45 i believe, and I saw him reach out and touch 500 ft. SUPER sweet guy, his wife walked with him and gave him hell the whole time in the funniest way.
