He has to be drunk Togo to rehab. They will have to put him On benzos to safely detox him. Alcohol is a very dangerous drug is one of the MOST dangerous drugs to detox from. He has to be tapered off Valium etc....to basically not die. Some sponsors will go pick up sponsees and take a beer with them to give to the Alcoholics to avoid seizure or sudden death while driving them to rehab. People have no idea that the one of the most dangerous drugs is actually legal!

I was in the same boat with my ex husband. 2 failed attempts at shorter term facilities and finally got him to reach out to his EAP at work and they sent him for a month and he's been sober since. Kids need a father (both parents) and the co-parent just has to fight for that out of love for their kids.

Jen is one tough woman.. anyone who has her love shud be lucky.. bens lucky shes still part of his life and all his indiscretions.. jens mentally solid

Medic Friends . Thank you! So easy to judge when you haven't lived the life. I recognized that he had a disease. I tried to help him but it was way beyond my capabilities. My reward was therapy after all those years.

it is not easy to go out of alcohol if you do not solve the problems that cause addiction, in my case were sentimental, after a story ended up drinking again, now I can not give up, I understood my problems and origins I hope Ben also does it first of all for himself

I love that Jennifer Garner helps Ben Affleck and brings him to rehab. I think still Jennifer Garner loves him and I hope they can get together again

Jennifer Garner is known not to pull any punches when it comes to her husband, Ben. It's obvious they absolutely love each other and would do anything for each other. That's why it's so sad that they're separated. As someone in recovery myself, I have the utmost respect for him and how open and honest he is when it comes to his struggles with addiction. Secrets and lies are the root of what kills addicts like us. You can never truly begin to recover until you can be brutally honest with yourself. God Bless him and his family.

It has been stalled for years. As of late, the presiding judge has threatened to throw the case out of court for incomplete paperwork. And now that this is happening again, Jen will pause the divorce (again) so that Ben could get better before proceeding.

Many general practitioners do not believe parents when they complain about their child’s behaviour. I am not talking about normal tempers flaring or a child forgetting something. I am talking about a child that can never get to sleep, a child that is ALWAYS late for school ( because they couldn’t get to sleep ) a child that struggles in school academically and emotionally. I believe these are the people that self medicate with booze, sex and drugs. Some children even feel suicidal and do not tell their parents. Parents have no rights. I found that out the hard way! I pray Ben can heal. His children are beautiful and they need a Father.
