To be fair I honestly don't know why a lot of people take the piss or dislike Ben Affleck. In my opinion I think he's actually one of the smartest and understandable guys of Hollywood now days. You can clearly see here and other interviews that he's a very clever man, I mean he basically rearranged and sorted out his carrier when it was going downhill a couple of years ago. He had made and written some terrific movies since and to an extent I actually have quite a bit of respect for this guy. He's a good actor a good director and a fucking good writer, He wrote good will hunting one of my favourite films from this decade. And yeh Ben is just a Bo$$.

4:22 he says "This guy is at the end of his tether". That little part REALLY got me all giggity because I'm speculating that this Batman had plans to retire but of course can't due to the events of Man of Steel and of course his OCD. Sounds like the definitive Batman to me! I really couldn't be anymore excited to see how Ben will portray Batman.

I believe he could be a great batman, you can't judge him on an interview where he isn't ACTING, don't sleep on him, I saw Gone Girl and it was really good

He was perfect in Gone Girl, such a stunning performance. And he is a great as a man: beautiful, well educated, charming, intelligent. I can't wait to see him again on screen.

Ben Affleck has proved again and again that he should be taken in consideration as a great talent

Affleck is an underrated actor and director he's an Oscar winner and deserves props. when I heard he was cast as batman I was excited he's got the look of Wayne and Batman and looks better then anyone else in the suit....HE IS BATMAN. people whined and overreacted about LEDGER Cast as Joker too.

You guys have to remember, Daredevil was one of the early 2000s superhero films that didnt have the right formula. Sure, Spiderman and Xmen at the time were THE MOST successful superhero movies of that time before DC released Batman Begins. What superhero movies were trying to do then was to adopt a formula like The Matrix. Slow motion, bunch of CG, dark, and action packed, but you cannot blame Ben Affleck for Daredevil. Look at where he is now, he matured since his previous acting days, he did Argo rrally well, Gone Girl is incredible and I believe he will be a great Batman. Give him a chance and cut the guy some slack.

+Emiliano Beristàin That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. Zach Snyder has a problem with becoming TOO stylized, to the point everything is just a blur of colors and effects and even slow motion. The comic-con trailer highly impressed me...the second trailer had me worried. Now all we can do is hope it's not a disaster. Either way though, Ben Affleck DOES SEEM perfectly casted. Even when I was watching Gone Girl I was thinking "damn...he does kinda seem like Batman sometimes" even the way he stands is Batman-ish.

While its true that Ben's acting is often overrated, I do appreciate his flexibility for playing different roles. You have many actors who always end up playing the same person, but Affleck really seeks a new challenge with every project.

No matter what Ben Affleck does or says, I will always remember him as the guy who did that bizarre shuffle while walking up to the girl at the bar in Good Will Hunting.

He was pretending to be healthy. 1 or 2 months after the promotion of gone girl, ben and jen made the decision to divorce, I think they waited to announce it to the world so it wouldn't affect his movie and they wouldn't relate the relationship of the couple in the movie, Amy and nick with reality. Jen also had a premiere at the time, a disney movie, they had to fake stability. They also waited to announce it so the kids wouldn't be in school. according to jen garner they announced it 8 months after the split, so by this interview they were about to make the decision. Also in february 2015 at the oscars ben came up to jlo and whispered things in her ear. He was already separated

I don't see it wrong, she is the mother of his children, but it is evident that he made the money, and she could work, there are actresses with more Oscar-winning careers, working hard with children and who have less money than Jen

At first I was skeptical about his venture as batman. Now he has 100% approval.

Sam Smith I never heard him saying that he supports the war. Unfortunately, I don't know much about his stand points, but at least at the Batman v Superman trailer, he doesn't have that irritating voice he had before.

Damn I saw the exact moment the woman in red dress felt for Affleck, and also when he noticed... I'm stoned so it went like in super slow motion and was funny as hell. I don't reccomend pot though, makes me kinda paranoid about random shit.

mfgunit lol..that's what pot does, it makes you paranoid, and over think things, but in over thinking things, pot can also make you more creative, and find solutions to things, past, present and future, but that also depends on the person who's smoking...BTW pot's effect on the body is not nearly as damaging than pretty much any other type of drug, and not as physically damaging as alcohol...

mansandem Pot damages your life indirectly. It might not be that harmful, and sometimes even cure somethings, but if abused, you will be like a cigarette smoker - always thinking of when is the next time your going to smoke. It consumes your like to the point it is your master.

I wonder if Charlie Rose was in Batman v. Superman at this point.

Charlie rose is such an insightful and intelligent mediator.

He really has charisma and I understand why his female co-stars in movies fall in love with him, like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Garner, Ana de Armas. He should have stayed married to Garner.

Affleck is twice the actor bale is and has far more experience.
