All this could have been prevented if the assistant just took a gumball. Then again, I should question if theor equipment would last that much longer even without that, since apparently slughtly hitting with an elbow is enough to cause damage to it.

The Humungasaur thing at the end creates an issue, since it implies that Gwen, Kevin, and Ben were there in the original flashback, but we see the shot here of Paradox sliding with them in the background and they clearly aren't there the first time they show it. So where did Humungasaur come from the first time? Plus there's the part where Paradox is walking and talking in the flashback, but is standing still in the trios versions so they can walk behind him.

Because the group appearing needs to not happen so it can eventually happen regardless. The group not being there needs to happen so Professor Paradox and Ben meet for the first time in this timeline. That sets so many other events in motions that are important to the fabric of their reality. Now that they've met, the group goes back and fixed the timeline.

technically 3 povs but the third one is much shorter as its when paradox is retelling his story to ben.

The mistake you're all making is assuming time travel is linear. This is basically a solved version of the Grandfather paradox. It seems the same past is not connected to the same present 1) In timeline 1 the accident happened and the monster appeared in the present. 2)The trio travel back to the past of timeline 1 and return to their present which was altered but was still timeline 1 due to the monster being in the past of timeline 1 causing some weird causality effects. 3)This also creates timeline 2 where the accident never happened and the unseen present where the trio never traveled back to the past 4) Since the trio from timeline 2 never went to the past they caused another split by ironically not doing anything since their history was supposed to be altered in the past but no one had a reason to travel to the past ( 👆🏻this is confusing but basically unaltered past created unaltered present so past was altered to create altered present but no one from this present went back so the timeline got "unaltered" again and branched off into a new one) 5)As a result this created timeline 3 which played out the same way as the original timeline 1 6) And these events repeat themselves for eternity (or not, since all these events take place outside the normal flow of time)

So this first scene of the episode, it is not a flashback, it is a flash forward? Because Humungousaur is already there, right? If there was no Humungousaur, then this scene would be a flashback

Yes, they kept the fact that Ben was there hidden from the audience, but for the show canon, since these series of events are always meant to happen, a flashback would include Ben

Not how time travel works in Ben 10, he went back in time so he was always there, the team is just getting their reason to time travel and change the past. Basically Ben was always there and saving the guy, he just experienced a pardox that caused him to go back in time and fix it, despite the fact he already did.

And this is why time travel episodes give me headaches. I spend too much time trying to rationalise the logic, causes and effects of scenarios and events, and ontop of that taking ito account paradoxes. But I do adore Prof Paradox
