I spent three years of my college life in this holyplace. Now each and every student of RKM feel like that this place is our home. We don't want to separated from this place. We feel any educational institution not better than our belur vidyamandira. We spent Every afternoon in the bank of GANGA and the silent flow of GANGA with smooth air ,nothing can compete with this.

Having read C.Isherwood's "Ramakrishna and His Disciples" this year, it was great to see the magnificence of these Sacred sites! Truly awesome.

It was clear to him that the real cause of India's downfall was the neglect of the masses." We need someone like him in the US about now.

Thanks for your comment.. One question, Where would you go if you were to die today? Seek the Lord and saviour Jesus Christ before it's too late. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Hell is real and Heaven is also real. You don't want to spend an eternity in Hell torment without God. The only way to escape Hell is to follow Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour. Study the KJV Bible to know more and pray and seek until you find Jesus. Don't delay tomorrow might be too late. You are not promised even the next minute. Do it now

Idiot...Vedanta is the core of Upanishads. The mediocrity of people like u in India is reason for our downfall. Secularism started in Europe as cardinal richlieu’s vision to align catholic France with Protestant countries in Europe during the war period - it was a geopolitical move. Well, good question. Of course, Ishvara led me to Him. I wish I could recall what caused me to first order various books. But, I was doing a lot of reading in 1995, when I first ordered from the Vedanta Societies of St. Louis and Southern California. Of course, I read The Gospel, first, but now have a Ramakrishna library of over 30 books. Ramakrishna just resonated very well. Even now, having transitioned from Advaita Vedanta to Neo-Advaita/Non-Duality, I can read The Gospel and see that Ramakrishna was pure Non-Duality and pure Bhakti, and pure Christianity, etc. In 1995, I was an active member of the Self Realization Fellowship and recall wondering why Ramakrishna did not have a set list of instructions for Sadhana (other than to love and hold close to God). Now I understand the wisdom of not trying to create a cookie-cutter approach to spiritual growth and Awakening. The Gospel, along with 'I AM That', are two books I will continue re-read until this "bag of bones" falls away.
