You can just imagine Zach Condon singing and playing the piano by the beach! (Turn up the volume if you can't hear the waves in the back)
Жүктеу.....

Hey, love this song. Had it for a while now. But, this song is not a Beirut song. It's an unreleased song by Zach Condon himself.

Zach talked a bit about this song in a Reddit AMA today and confirmed that it has no concrete lyrics: "Listen, I'll let you in on a big secret here. In a lot of my recordings, I loved the sound and spontaneity of the vocal "mock-ups" so much that sometimes I wouldn't really go back and "fix" them by replacing them with proper lyrics , as I felt like the emotion would always drain out on every further take. When I wrote Beluga, I remember I had a sketch in mind, something about, I wouldn't mind the lonely life, or... "Some live in sad and lonely rides, I wouldn't be so right" or something...but I mumbled through some ideas and sang my heart out to see what it would sound like. I fell for that vocal take before I finished my writing and, as I've said, I never knew these songs would be online!"

I think this is songwriting gibberish which is a thing and so cool to hear it! It's like a foreign language created out of raw emotion.
