Beltane Border do Glastonbury
When I heard these guys were in town I had to go see.
Border Morris owes very little to the hanky waving style of English Morris dancers that we have all sat through outside a pub while on holiday.
No this is something completely different tracing its history back to the border area between Wales and England
Oh and the other reason I had to come down?... I used to drop for these guys 16 years ago.
I hope you enjoy this video as the dancing by Beltane Border and Glastonbury border does the talking rather than me

You would need to ask them that
Entertaining but not Morris dancing. If you look at the steps, they aren't very intricate and require very little skill. This form of dance seems to be a good excuse for (mostly) women to dress up in outlandish outfits and make noise. There's little artistry to it.

Sadly you obviously you know very little about Morris dancing. Beltane are a Border Morris side. Not only that but they are widely considered to be one of the best sides in the country. Border Morris is recognised nationally both by morris dancers and the National Morris Federation As for skill I can only assume that you are comparing border to the hanky waving bell wearing traditional Morris. When it comes to that the foot work is very basic when it comes to the hanky wavers so not a good comparison. I notice you seem to have disapprove of the fact that there are lots of women involved which is rather saddening what’s wrong with women being involved??
