Exactly Kyla it has nothing to do with Kate his son died of a drug overdose and he said he found him. I can't even imagine that his hard that has to be. My heart breaks for him and his wife. My deepest condolences to him and his family and friends

There has never been two better, hardworking, funny and professional stews on Below Deck than Kate and Josiah. I have watched all seasons, episodes and reunions and they get my thumbs up, high five and cheers!! Love you two. Please come back for one more season as an encore!! Stay safe during this Covid hell.

Yas. Kate gets into a bit more drama with others but if you notice, it is always work-based. She cares making the charter guests happy. She doesn't get involved in the more absurdity and often male-based (whether between the boys and each other, maybe over a girl, maybe with a girl, or girls about a guy) crap when the group goes out and neither did Josiah. We only got one season with Josiah as far as I know but he was great & is my favorite kind of gay guy. I personally love guys who have that slightly effeminate side that shows which I find adorable for some reason. I'm bisexual and strictly a top when it comes to guys & it's just the bottom-boy type I like but only as long as they are more reserved or even somewhat shy/bashful because I find that cute too, especially when they are physically attractive as well which I've found is somewhat hard to find that more quiet and reserved but still very attractive bottom gay/bisexual dude. Of course, that quiet and reserved or shyness does go away when they are with people they are comfortable with but I think that is how it is with everyone. One of the coolest things that I noticed though about Kate & Josiah (and Josiah definitely showed clear qualification to be a chief stew on his own, especially after working under Kate & getting that season of experience) was their attention to detail in how they seemingly both were always able to anticipate what the charter guests would need which is what separates the average and the best, in my opinion (and Josiah would have clearly learned that in butlering school). They clearly would triple and quadruple read the preference sheets and made mental observations of what each guest preferred, whether in terms of drinks they liked & how well they could hold their alcohol to anticipate how that would affect their situation in terms of dinner time & waking time, etc. and having stews that can do that and provide that more personal and direction attention is the difference between staying at a 4-star and a 5 star hotel which I would just guess that extends to chartering a yacht of that size which I would imagine would be the equivalent type of service you would get at a 5-star, if not better even, like having the penthouse or the bridge suite at Atlantis where you have specific individuals as well as a chef there for you as you need them, which one would probably expect when paying $10,000 a night (not including tips), so I guess maybe it might even be a tad above five star. I did notice in that one season with Josiah was that when they had to get rid of, I think her name was Caroline, that while I didn't really approve of the way they chased her off the boat (as long as she was gone before any charter guests arrived should have been acceptable), the two of them alone showed they could take care of things all on their own pretty easily.

Ugh! The Elizabeth mustard gas incident is entirely misunderstood. 1) she mixed bleach with OxyClean not bleach and soap (go back and listen to her in that episode) 2) mustard gas (aka phosgene gas) is when you mix bleach and ammonia 3) what Elizabeth created was akin to chlorine gas (also deadly) 4) mustard gas and chlorine gas were used in WW1 not WW2. History and chemistry, people!

Many of the stews have been on the show with zero responsibility. How do u get a direct order to take bleached items outside and do as you please? She could have conked out the whole crew.

I'm so sad Kate may not return???

She REALLY got the shaft on her final season! SO unfair! I was a little disappointed that Capt Lee didn't spend just a little bit of his time to oversee or check up on what the hell was going on. The Captain is the Captain and as such everything that occurs on a ship is either to his credit or his fault. That all said, I have not watched even one episode since Kate was harassed off of the show.

Is that what happened with Kate really though? Was she harassed off of the show? I mean, I know she "quit" at one point in that season but she came back the next day & finished it, right? What I do know is that the way drunk Ass-ton acted towards Kate after she asked about his mom (Totally innocent on her part - she doesn't know the banter or inside joke these juvenile dickhead deck crew have and the way he got in her physical space when they were driving in that car really would have pushed me over the edge to defend Kate because that kind of physical aggressiveness is not acceptable to me. And it wasn't long after Ass-ton just got done having to pay $1,000 for screwing up the sound system at that one place's pool area. I mean "don't embarrass yourself, don't embarrass the boat" sermon doesn't mean much if he is allowed to keep behaving that way.

Kate...come back! You could ask for a crazy high salary and work 3 or 5 more seasons and save the huge salary. They would pay at least several million a season to get their ratings up again. You are NOT too old to stew! ( you kept saying that)..That age crap that stops women is NOT acceptable! Show the world that women will not say ..ooh..yes..I'm older so I must not keep working in a job like this ( or any job!) START THE PROCESS OF BUCKING THE OLD RULES. And Josiah..You two are a TEAM! COME BACK ..both of you! Better yet: They could create a new position for you. Something like the CEO of managing the whole team, including the chef, of inside. You could have your chief stew and other stews and you plan and direct. Sort of like captain of interior and guest relations! It would make it better for the guest experience and the staff.👌

Kate needs to come back to help out Captain Lee his in mourning. We need Josh back as well so cute. The show is a like a sinking ship. Boring boring so much whining even when the crew goes out so lame. Be safe wear the mask 🇨🇦

Hanna sandy is mad because Kate didn’t tell her Hanna is coming back yet there is one more twist Kate decides to make Hanna the chief stew and Kate become three Josiah is the second, during this charter the crew gets on sandys ass for past screw ups and the guest are blown away by the service, I told you bravo no one can outthink me

That’s not true. Caroline was always whining about something, had more “emergencies” than the combined total of everyone else EVER on the show and was the chronic “victim” no matter WHAT they did to help her. She eavesdropped and didn’t like what they said between the two of THEM. Guess what, you’re allowed to talk to a co-worker. Nope. Caroline brought it all on herself.
