I like how you put the laptop with a sleeve on. It would be cool to see in other pack videos. Just to see off it would fit.

Add to this backpack any of Bellroy crossbody sling - and you get the concept up to the point! = You put all your small valuables aka wallet, passport, keys, smartphone etc into crossbody sling located in front of you = Everything big and heavy like laptop or extra cloth with umbrella and thermo bottle you put into basic EDC rucksack on your back! And this combo "sling + backpack" is perfect and almost ideal in terms of keeping all crucial valuables close to your body anytime with you while backpack you need only occasionally and leave it behind easily! Consider the simple trip on the train or bus = you keep your backpack as the cabin luggage on the shelf, and don't control it all the time while traveling, cause at least you go to washroom or to grab and bite something or to stretch your legs after long hours of sitting... Nevertheless, your small sling is always with you easily, and it's far more convenient to have access to your smartphone, kindle, powerbank, wallet and ID situated not in the backpack behind but on your chest in the sling! More to say, are you really need to have all the bigger stuff with you in the backpack all the time in the urban jungles on daily basis?! Not at all, at least 50%+ of your walks and short trips within the city require only sling with true EDC essentials = no need to have a fully packed backpack just to go to the coffee shop next corner or spend couple of hours in the park or mall or whatever!

Yeah it does have a tighter main compartment

I bought it 4 years ago and didn't like it. It gets dirty really easily, the leather zippers and handle on the top stretch a lot. The straps clasps got loose too, therefore they eat my hair when adjusting on the go. To me Bellroy is overrated.
