Like every place of Italy is beautiful how.

Last week I was in Como, a beautiful small town, I walked for 16 km and I never got bored or tired. I would also like to visit the villages in the area but I usually go by train to Como taking advantage of the day ticket to travel anywhere in Lombardy so my timetables do not coincide with those of the ferries... Maybe next year I'll use the car, after all I live only 1,30 hour away. One day I'd like to move to Como, it's very similar to my city so it's perfect for me, and the lake is spectacular!

Yeah, it is definitely nice to be able to explore so quickly by train there. This was my time to Lake Como. It seemed like a difficult place to get around. The roads were packed, the busses were packed... All to a point where it made it not as fun as it could be. I'll have to take my car next time.

I worked there in 1980 and 81, first year at the Bar Sanremo and the following year Hotel Florence, I went back about 7 years ago, nothing has changed apart from to many tourists now, it really only got very busy back in the 80s on a Sunday, when people from Como descended on it, Happy, Happy memories and this brings it all back, Just seen my bedroom balcony at the Hotel Florence, many happy times in there 😉

I wish I could watch this in the highest definition, but with my super slow DSL connection on a 10-inch laptop display, I can only go as high as 720, must be amazing watching on a high-def. TV at the highest definition.
