If the navy replaced some of their MH-60's ASW/SUW helicopters with these, with the improved range and the ability to cover a larger area of the ocean in a shorter time, they could fill in some of the gap left after they chose to retire the S-3 Viking aircraft without a replacement. With the improvements in submarines, the farther away from your ships that you can fight them, the better. And unlike the Viking, they could operate these off of their DDGs giving expanded coverage far way from the nearest aircraft carrier.

Good point.

When you have pilots like him on perhaps you could get them to talk about interesting things they did or had to do. Maybe one story as it pertains to the subject covered.

Could you get us an update on the v280 cockpit display?

Do you think they will put hard points on the wings for bombs?

I don't understand why they don't use the "marine" version fuselage with the downward facing tail for all the models. That is assuming that the downward facing tail has no adverse affects on the maneuverability. It will keep the costs down if you keep the commonality across all variants.

I wonder who will win out of this and the sb-1. Id like to see the sb1
