Friend of mine has a square one. It was one of the most comfortable (large) watches I have ever worn.

There was a review on this exact watch from one of the popular sites that stated the hour, minute, and second hands are difficult to distinguish between each other. Thus glacing the time was difficult and required extra thought.. Every time I see this watch I think it's 100% true and is a major flaw in its design. Had the hands been slightly shorter, it would have been better.

Can't see that. But can tell the time clearly and at a glance even when looking at it in a small window on my smartphone. The hour hand is easy to distinguish from the thin and long minute hand through its clearly wider, diamond shaped size and shortness imo. For me personally it's super legible and I really can't understand why some people would have problems with that and have seen some watches where that's really a thing.

That is definitely a lovely looking watch. Bell and Ross get a bad rap but their designs are really clean.

Gorgeous, but owned a Chris Ward that was very similar & was always paranoid of smashing the box crystal so rarely wore it. Beautiful tho. Cheers 👍🏻👍🏻

I really want a square B&R, I've told this story but as a kid I remember seeing the B&R ads in the back of Car and Driver magazines and I have to say I love the design. This one is amazing too, the brand is pretty underrated I mean they even have a long history making cases with Sinn. The chops are there I need to put one on the grill.

@@mrbacchus6127 I see there are many models on Jomoshop that are not so pricey. Possibly retail on this brand is a bit of a fiction.

Those have even dipped into the $1700s on strap.

I like these in the secondhand market. Not worth MSRP if I’m being honest. Random Rob, when do you come to Cali next?

48 click bidirectional would work, too.. for those rare odd timezones that are off by 30min.. I can't think of which place is like this off too of my head, but, I know there are some. I like B&R.. but, I have to admit I do like their more trademark square instrument gauge style watches. Though, I do like others like their belly tanker series they had a few years ago.

Nice looking watch. Pity it wasn't a 42mm because it balances out the 22mm lug width. The other option would have been 41/20. For me, the symmetry is thrown off. 😒

really lovely watches, design elements, case size, crystal, excellent.... but what are they doing muddying up the movement with that COLOSSALLY INANE scribbling on the display back?!!! this is THE definition of dropping the ball on the one yard line. truly annoying.
