Bell Ringing at All Saints Church, Maidstone, Kent
Bell ringing on this fantastic ring of ten Taylor bells. They are such good bells it is unbelievable!! 10:36 for the tenor ringing down in the belfry!

i love the sound of Maidstone. Such a beautiful 10.Not to sure why the tenor goes up wrong though. They have a little contraption. to pull the clapper over which I fi d interesting and amusing too. i love Maidstone10s cli of half muffled ringing.

steven rowe They are a fantastic ring of bells. I got to ring up the tenor here (went up wrong) and got it up myself then I flipped the clapper over. They are an incredible sounding ten!
love the end where you have to jump to chime it i have to do that on a 5cwt bell i only weigh just 1cwt LOL anyway amazing video as always!!

Well it does weigh 32cwt you know...! I needed to put some sort of effort into it to try (and fail) to keep it chiming... 😂

Just check the bell as it’s coming down and you should be ok. Keep checking it at the bottom to keep it chiming. I have Google+ messenger if you want to talk further by the way.

Call changes is quite tricky especially when you call it! Maidstone are a fantastic set of bells. If you're ever in Kent, they ring on a Thursday :)

Not really much else to say other than the tenor weighs 1635kg and was cast in 1957 by John Taylor & co. of Loughborough on Leicestershire.

I did the same at hereford cathedral recently.
