    Thanks for loading this!!!!! Is that Model 42 still around? Reminds me of a 206, sort of. I've been a Bell 47 buff as long as I can remember. I'm also a life member of the Bell 47 Helicopter Association (#316). Thanks Again!!!!!!

    The model 42 helicopter was really more of a "concept" helicopter that was not designed or built by the helicopter crew that created the model 47. It had a number of serious issues along with the fact that the control forces were so great, it required two pilots working together to fly it. All of the existing versions of the 42 were destroyed at some point. It was pretty!
