I won this CD calling in at our local college radio station, and free tix to their concert in town. I got to meet them, and they signed it for me. What a great memory. These guys are great, and the band was actually this tight live. Unbelievable, except that I'm a believer.

It’s criminal this and extraction isn’t on Spotify. These are riff gods with the most slicing tone.

Seeing them live in Utrecht during this tour (June 5, 1991) in Europe, was one of the best live-experiences I had in my life!

Bought this CD in '94 when I was 14. Back then you had to ask for the "heavy" music at our local Christian book store. They would give you a funny look and pull a shoebox out from behind the counter with 10 or 12 Cd's and tapes in it. I bought this and Ordained Fates self titled debut. I still have both copies 23 years later. Good times.

Ah, Christian Bookstores...they were so much fun back in the day though. A good friend and I used to like to visit each one and look in their bargain bin where we could find demo CD's and tapes for $1 - $5 each. Some would be bad and others were gems....we discovered some great bands that way.

My Dad was going through the change in 92 going to christian shops I tagged along with him one time so I was checking out the music and I found this CD called vengeance human sacrifice he asked me if I wanted to have it and I why not check it out my I really shock that it was so good that led to researching other bands believer and deliverance made the grade the metal is great

BELIEVER along with some others (i.e. ATHEIST, CYNIC etc.) were some of the coolest most ground-breaking/experimental/influential death metal bands and paved the way for many different sub-genres of the Death Metal Genre. 'Dimensions' by BELIEVER remains to this day one of the coolest progressive/death/Christian metal CD/Albums ever, and is still one of my all time favorite Metal Albums/CDs even to this day.

I think this album is cooler than dimensions but I think that's in part due to me liking the production sound on this more.

Me gusto esta banda,no la habia escuchado,la recomendo el buen Amusia.

Best thrash metal album i've listened to in a long time, these guys should have been WAYY more popular then what they were/are.

@@purchasedbyblood I found music like that of Believer and other Christian bands through forced faith. It's fair to say I was soured on the whole concept of faith, what with all the inconsistencies. That was almost 30 years ago. I never stuck with the faith (or faith didn't stick with me), yet here I still am for the music. At this point, 30 years later, few of us are here for a sermon.

Great band and great band members they were loyal to their fans❤ I was fortunate enough to have seen them in the early 90’s and they delivered the goods 🔥

The true kings of Christian thrash metal. "Sanity Obscure" focuses on the problems of modern society. Killer beats but "Extraction From Mortality" is their best album. 👍🏻😃👍🏻

I love Dimensions but to me Sanity Obscure is their best record. There is just a 'leetle' too much pretension to Dimensions by comparison, even though the compositions are well done. Here, they are similarly well done but feel more natural. Instead of composed, the songs on Sanity Obscure sound like they always were. Believer just let them out.
