This will always go down as one of my favorite yu gi oh openings in the japanese version. It perfectly characterizes 5ds as a show and the themes this season follows. In my view, perfection.

***** that's why i said "antagonist" since they weren't really evil, they just had enough of it's crappy apocalyptic future and their motives were understandable to me tough, and other than Divine or maybe Rudger this series didn't have real villains so maybe that's why lol XD

This song is so fucking badass. No other way to describe it.

MC was the true hero of the show. Yusei may have been the one to defeat Z-One, but if it wasn't for MC and his heroic decision to stay behind and narrate the entire duel, who knows how many thousands of people would have been killed when Arc Cradle fell...

I mean, at least the english one is consistent. It's actually not great in the long run to base part of the regional dub on JP and the rest on 4K-version, because that just means we don't have the full picture on either.

It doesn't matter how much they try, Konami will never create an ygo anime as good as 5ds, they won't. They could, but they won't... and that is unfortunate to say the least.

first i didn't like this opening and skip it, because i loved the one before and wasnt use to it but now i love it :D

Best opening theme of the show, but marked the point when Yusei started to do everything and the other characters might as well have not been there.

My biggest problem with the show is why do they rely on Synchro monsters against Synchro killers? Jack and Yusei both have Fusion monsters that can win then the day without nearly as much luck. Why not use those?

Khalil Safe Jack has Multiple Piece Golem, and against Team Unicorn, Yusei summons Dragon Knight Draco-Equise, which has 3200 attack. Only 100 less than Shooting Star Dragon, and could ruin a Meklord's day because they're not that strong.

Both Yusei and Jack went through an entire arc trying to find alternate ways to deal with the Synchro killers and in result both have fusion summoned a few times. I think they are just hard to get out something. I don't think they ever state why they never used it though.
