Belial looking great in model form and datasheet. He can do some real work for Deathwing.

I would argue not taking belial at all. But we'll see. I do appreciate the video still and still want you to go over all of the dark angels options of course lol 👍

He has a purpose but it's quite specific. Probably best for character hunting against friends. I'll get to all the datasheets eventually!

For the cost, I guess it could have some use as a solo piece deployed to do secondaries or disrupt some units in the enemy DZ but I think itscbetter tovtake a standard captain in termi armour to buff some 10 DW termies OK 5 DWK. But Belial himself gives only some minor opportunistic effects

He's mainly there as a thought provoking threat piece. If you don't screen, he will come in. Making armies Castle vs deathwing stops them from dominating board control. If they don't he can hit hard with his unit.

Belial cannot take enhancements and so wouldn't you need to take an Ancient in Terminator Armour to take the Champion of the Deathwing enhancement.

Plus the crit on 5 only applies to the bearer and not the whole unit iirc

Ah, forgot about the epic hero restriction! Probably not worth taking the ancient for the point cost, as well as Belial.
