Ich bin erstaunt wieviel Pferde noch kupiert sind. Ich denke auch in Belgien ist seit 2002 das kupieren verboten und kupierte Fohlen sind auf Schauen nicht mehr zugelassen. dies würde bedeuten, dass alle kupierten Pferde älter als 16 Jahre sind. oder die Belgie halten sich nicht an die Verbote oder lassen sich in Frankreich ein Gefälligkeitsgutachten ausfertigen.

I agree. Such an old practice is hard to stop. Sure hope it ends though.

I also think it's an old ridiculous practice, but as I carriage driver I can tell you it is exceedingly annoying when a horse with a full tail gets the tail over the top of the rein and the will clamp that tail down. It makes it incredibly hard to get the Rein out from under the tail. This can make driving harder to do. Even with this problem, I would rather not have a docked tail.
