Ahh it seems the inner drum is off centre and is rubbing, and has worn through ! It is on its 3rd set of brushes and second child lol ! We’ve had it 12 years, I’m curious to see if I can make it a family heirloom 🤣 I’ll check your site now.

Thanks for this video. I've got a Beko WI 1573 that's leaking from under the front left corner. I got a guy out to check it but he put it on a short cycle and it didn't leak. It only leaks when it's on a longer cycle. Which is infuriating. Strangely since he pulled the machine out it's been leaking more which makes me thinks it's the seal that he removed and then put back or whichever hose it is just got more dislodged. The hoses for Beko look fairly cheap so I'm tempted to give it a go. Do you know what the issue might be? Thanks.

Thanks for a very informative vid. We have a beko 9 series, and the bearings went ( just outside the guarantee_ 1-nil to Beko for perfect timing re designed-in failure). I replaced them by cutting the welded joint on the drum housing and using high quality bearings bought locally. They have been ok for over a year now, and still perfect. You described this drum as scrap. Do you not reckon it is worth doing a bearing repair ? (The bits cost me less than £20). I would value your comment.

It is worth parking the machine to one side. I'm waiting for the same model number to come up on eBay with electronic fault then you would be able to rob Charlie to make Peter better as the expression goes. You can normally pick them up for less than £25. @steveholding3975 please remember to subscribe to our channel as that really helps us kzread.infoe432SAb2g08 Thanks, Paul 👍

I have lived this TWICE ! I split my drum last week, replaced the bearings (not cheap £40! FAG ones) put it all back together again, zero issues,no breakages, but upon the turn-on today, the drum will not spin ? The motor ain’t turning. It was fine apart from the bearings being noisy, when I took it apart.Do you have ANY ideas,it’s filling and draining, but the counter doesn’t go down, and it won’t spin,I’m perplexed, but am unsure what actually stops the drum spinning (door latch etc ?)…please help as my wife wants to buy a new one,and I’ve invested too much time and learning into this now…I wanna hear those new bearings smooth as…it was like a B52 landing when I took it apart last week !

Hi, I’ve got a 10KG beko washer and a couple issues… 1) the steel body is rusting a little just below the powder tray… assume water is ‘splashing’ over the tray and leaking onto the body? Is this common/easy to fix or prevent? 2) doesn’t seem to be filling from the hot water intake even when on a hot cycle. Can I test this to confirm?

If the water pressure is high, then this could be causing the problem when you have a lot of soap powder in the drawer you could turn the tap on the wall to reduce the pressure, but what I would do is make sure you clean up the rust and repaint it,

I have a Beko WMB 71443 LE and its currently leaking a lot of water in the back while draining. It could be comming from the waste hose, but the hose in general is completely dry. At the point where it connects to the backplate, there is another small hose comming from it which is open. Is there some plug missing or is this how its supossed to (pressure exchange or something like that)? Because i feel like the water (leaks) there.

The build construction is pretty good. The technical help is fantastic, but why or why do all manufacturers have to produce sealed drums for the sake of 12 screws I swear they all sit around a table each year trying to create ways to sell their machines faster. There is no need for it. This planet is in a big enough mess as it is.

I had to dismantle the control panal to fix on/off switch which had become lose and is not working, Once I had got to it I could see there is a little plastic return spring leaf spring kind, made of 1mm thick clear plastic with a little cross that when you press on/off on the outside of the machine it connect to the on/off button on the curcuit board. This flimsy bit off plastic had snapped off, and was hard to find when it fell on the floor, its clear plastic and only 2mm wide and 8mm long. I have glued it back on Now, and have too reconnect all the control panal clips and wires then I will see if thats fixed it, fingers crossed. Just gotta wait for the glue to set.

They do sell the clear plastic pieces. I believe it's a whole piece that slots in you will need to use your model number, just in case the glue fails.
