The black box I’m using is from a Briggs and Stratton air filter housing for a lawn mower. There is no filter or anything in it. It’s just the housing. It’s there to provide a cover from water or debris splashing in from the top. Anything similar that will fit over the tubing you use will work. A lot of air comes out when it vents so there isn’t really any risk of build up inside the tube.

What size tubing we need 3/4 or 1"

1 inch is what I used. I wouldn't go smaller then that.

THUMBS UP if you are running your BOV in a closed loop like OEM and recirculating back into the intake pipe.

I assume it will work with stock BOV?

Yes it will work with any BOV. However, the stock plastic valves are prone to failure. I suggest replacing it with an aftermarket unit. They are not very expensive. If you do use the plastic valve be careful when tightening the hoses onto it, if you go too tight you could damage the valve.
