I wish Chris' vocabulary on prime time stayed what it was on Up With Chris Hayes. It raised me up.

+JoAnn Groh Unfortunately I think his network is going to crash and burn, intellectually and literally, now that Comcast has taken it over.

Could Chris Hayes be more rude, than to be reading a book before the class starts, ignoring both the students and Mr. Coates? I watch Chris Hayes on MSNBC, and I like his show, but that was not a good look for him.

+PerthTowne Mr. Coates gave him that book, so duh, I think he wants him to read it. And as for the audience what interaction is there to be had between Hayes and an audience that does not personally know him before a talk?

crozet isles It just looked rude. He didn't have to read it right then and there, especially since it looked to me like Mr. Coates possibly wanted to converse with him. Now again, I have to emphasize that I like Chris Hayes. I often watch him on MSNBC and I appreciate his intelligence and the way he covers important issues. But that just seemed rude and dismissive of everyone around him. Obviously you saw it differently. We just don't agree.

Yeah, well Chris would know all about that, being as effeminate as he is. A little testosterone could go a long way there.

I hope Hayes enjoys whatever time he has left "being smart in prime time" b/c his ratings are awful. His show will be canceled any day now.

While you're recovering from that, give me your address so I can discuss it with you face to face, since you are so big on knowing who you are talking to. Go on, don't be a hypocrite and a coward.

"Hey I can't really give you my name because I'm scared shitless - BUT IF YOU'RE SO BRAVE HOW BOUT YOU GIVE ME YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND CREDIT CARD INFO, HUH?!!? "
