Being Kind to Yourself - A Guided Mindfulness Meditation
This is a new guided mindfulness meditation on kindness toward yourself - it is a reminder that we all have pain, challenges, and struggles in life. It is ok to feel sadness and grief at times, and we are deserving of forgiveness toward ourselves and freedom from suffering. Take a few moments for healing. Relax and free yourself from the stress and anxiety in life.
Let the dialogue and ambient music soundtrack guide you. There are about 9 minutes of guided meditation and then 3 additional minutes of silent meditation to end the session. You deserve kindness!
This video was created as part of a research grant project at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Thank you to Clinical Social Worker Alison Noyes for sharing her expertise on the subject of mental health.

I don’t feel welcomed in this earth by family, Friends, bosses, coworkers and people all around. Just want to find my tribe of peace and love! Is it because I don’t have it within myself? I have so much love to give!!
This hit me so hard. I deserve all of those wonderful things and I need to stop letting people take them from me, including myself. Be kind and loving to yourself.

I needed this
Living on this planet requires bravery, courage, and strength. The past three years have shown this to me. Like so many, I have endured the loss of family and friends due to unacceptable views and I am still here to finish my contract on this earth plain.

The vibes I got from these visuals and music combined are "nostalgic and heartwarming" and "beautiful and looking to the future". I dunno why these exact phrases came to mind when listening to and watching this, but these emotions were definitive enough to take the form of these words, so I figured I should at lest write them down...

My life is my best life now!
This meditation is helping calm me. I have had several nights of very poor sleep and need to manage 100 slides for a big event today which needs careful timing. I pray that I will get the strength and focus to do this and not to sabotage lots of work done by me and others. I wish I had been firmer about this task not being a good one for my skills set but too late now. I need to rise to the challenge and know God will carry me.

My doctor sent me this a few days ago. I have been suffering for 8 years with chronic pain 24/7 I do not know how I have kept going. I am sick of the medications that I have been taking I just do not know anymore . I listened to this and tried to relax but I couldn’t but I will try again. Thank you. From the UK.

I have listened to you and your voice, over and over I am recently widowed with a son of Downs 54 so loving and thinks so much of his dad my husband of 59 yrs, died suddley and I can not be with pecae as we could not talk or say good bye, I am not sure how to handle my son Jeff when he says he misses his dad, I am of all of the above but not kindness to myself as i feel responsible and do not know how to move some days, I must because of Jeff. I pray but oh I. am so hurt and angry

Why did I cry
I find it so hard to be mindful. My anxiety strikes me just before work, like 10 or so minutes before I have to leave for work. It also strikes at work where I can’t take a moment to be mindful because I’m in a situation that makes me uncomfortable. It’s hard to tell myself to go easy on myself in an environment where I’m constantly told to do more and do it better if I take a moment to center myself.

Hello am struggling with suicidal thoughts I have physical illness and when something happens in my life I get over whelmed the suicidal thoughts go worse I did try last year to end my life because the migraine and vertigo I have went worse. I have chronic fatigue syndrome and on going shingles. My mum has just passed away . And Iv had to grieve alone whilst my family were all together. Since mums funeral my body crashed iv spent over 3 weeks in bed and Am still in bed . Iv had a kidney infection aswell. Also I had a carer picking on me so iv had to dismiss her and then iv had to get intouch with the employment people. Its all been to much for me. And all the thoughts are just to end my life. If iv no stress am fine. Also losing my beautiful mum. I live alone but have carers come in. But ever evening am just alone and thats when the suicidal thoughts are worse. Iv not got no energy at all My lifes in a big mess. If anyone can help me with how to ignore the suicidal thoughts. When am just lying in bed with no energy and not 1 nice thought . I would be truly grateful I want to live. I carnt leave my grieving family . Thank you xx

Try to look at your thoughts from the outside and not through them. Finding the right therapist could help. Hang in there
Loving kindness for Devone, delivering a vegan pizza in safety and comfort. Avalokitesvara smiles upon Devone and they are not followed by bandits nor do they fall to sickness or tragedy. Successfully cultivating Buddhist thought. Lovingkindness a vegan pizzeria is getting a chance to prove it's worth. Unfortunately lately I found meat in the food of a new restaurant, and an old one. I take the time to extricate myself with a vegan diet In order to save sentient beings, I would like mercy from those who could make a joke and try to introduce meat products and therefore incurring the karma of dealing with that meat. I would like to avoid those situations, in the future. I am saying if there is kindness for Devone and they can pass freely without stress as they need, in the end there is meditation achieved and that equates to kindness for me when what arrives is Buddha. Lovingkindness the hearts are simply good and interested in veganism at iits mention yet usually humbled by their beginning diet, may they be encouraged again and again to grow the vegan habit because eventually they will succeed.. the nature of mind
I REALISE THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DO GOOD AND SOMETIMES THESE BREATHING EXCERSISES AND MEDITATION DOES WORK, B UT QUITE OFTEN THEY JUST IRRITATE ME, NOW I AM SURE NOT EVERYONE WILL ADMIT THIS BUT ONE DOES NOT ALLWAYS FEEL THE SAME AND WHERE IT MIGHT BE A VERY SOOTHING EXCERSISE AND MANNER TO START THE DAY ONE DAY IT WILL NOT NECESSARILY BE SO THE NEXT AND I THINK TO BEABLE TO ADMIT THAT TAKES YOU A LONG WAY TO SPIRITUAL MATURITY ......DO YOU AGREE?
