Kids don't write kids books, grownups do. I definitely felt "immature" because of my reading and TV preferences over the years but now as a 34 year old I've realized that I was so into kid/teen stories because that's what inspired me to tell my own. Also, life is so BIG when you're young and as an adult it feels really good to remember that feeling. Books are the real fountain of youth, pick one up and you can be any age you want to be 💖
"You absolute uncultured walnut" is now my favorite insult ever.

Yes. A+ insult
And, yes, would love to hear you go off about marketing!
I’m 42 and love YA!! And I don’t care what people think! I read what I WANT to read, simple!
Boom! We have been schooled! Thanks for the entertaining and passionate video!

I’m 40 and just read To Best The Boys (awesome book I highly recommend ). A good book is just a good book. End of story! 🤗
I needed this video. as a 23yo who is currently reading HoN, a series I’ve owned for 10 years but never finished, I’ve been telling myself oh I’ll finish these books then buy ‘grown up’ books that suit my age. worst part? I’m enjoying the series more now than I did when I first read Marked! I feel immature for owning/enjoying YA but you’re so right, I should enjoy what I enjoy! thank you ☺️
Also, DO get started!!
Marketing sounds fun!
well said but damn I'm glad I'm at a point in my life where I don't give two fucks about someone else's opinion of me or what I do.
How hot is Vanc?
31 and I only read YA 😝 who cares seriously. Lol
