Kids don't write kids books, grownups do. I definitely felt "immature" because of my reading and TV preferences over the years but now as a 34 year old I've realized that I was so into kid/teen stories because that's what inspired me to tell my own. Also, life is so BIG when you're young and as an adult it feels really good to remember that feeling. Books are the real fountain of youth, pick one up and you can be any age you want to be 💖

I needed this video. as a 23yo who is currently reading HoN, a series I’ve owned for 10 years but never finished, I’ve been telling myself oh I’ll finish these books then buy ‘grown up’ books that suit my age. worst part? I’m enjoying the series more now than I did when I first read Marked! I feel immature for owning/enjoying YA but you’re so right, I should enjoy what I enjoy! thank you ☺️

well said but damn I'm glad I'm at a point in my life where I don't give two fucks about someone else's opinion of me or what I do.
