Being A Korean Princess For A Day & Eating at Gwangjang Market | Solo In Seoul • EP 4
Hey everyone! 😃 In today's episode, I had a lot of fun dressing up as a korean princess for a day! I rented beautiful hanbok and walked around the Changdeokgung palace. Even though it was a hot summer's day, it still felt really magical walking around historical grounds in the hanbok. It's an experience I would highly recommend trying! 🙌🏻
I ended off the day at Gwangjang market which is a traditional market, one of the largest and oldest in South Korea. It was really cool seeing all the different stalls especially the food vendors and the variety of food that they were selling! Of course, I had to try some of the food. Unfortunately I wasn't very hungry that day so I didn't eat a lot but I'm glad I got to try some of the food, of which, the walnut cakes are worth buying! The custard and cream cheese flavours were so yummy! 😋

Hi Sarah! Which month was this that you wore the hanbok? I'm visiting Seoul in July but am not sure if it will be too hot to don a hanbok haha

Hellooo! I wore this in early September. It’s airy under the skirt cause you’ll wear a can can under (which gives the hanbok its shape) but you might find the long sleeve top warm to wear out 😅 You can consider wearing bringing a portable fan around 🤣
