I felt this way before. At 23, I got my license. Bought a car. Lost 70lbs. Broke off all my credit card debts and a pretty decent job. When you use time to your advantage. Instead of saying “ damn I’m 25, I haven’t done anything” I now say “ damn in only 25 years old”

Nah I'm more attractive now than I was at 21. You need to exercise, keep your health and body right, eat well, sleep well and worry less, the intense stress causes rapid ageing and health issues. Just let it go.

@@iamnidal Same. I'm 23 and still live with my parents. I have no job but I got my permit and drivers license after taking my driver's test. I failed the computer test twice and finally got it on the third try. And I got lucky on the driving part bc of covid, I didn't have to go on the road. I did it in the parking lot and I remember being really nervous cause all I wanted to do was pass. The lady who was watching me drive between cones surveyed everything I did but after it was all over, she told me what not to do and said overall I did really well and she said I passed! I was so relieved and happy that day. Other than that, living at home is pretty nice. I do schoolwork and contribute doing chores but sometimes I feel like it's not enough. Like I need to do more. I look at others now and then and feel so bad about myself seeing that people who are younger than me are being successful and are going off to college. But I try to focus on the good. If I do my work everyday then I will get ahead much faster and I should graduate by next year. I'm thinking of going to college and becoming a veterinarian.

I just turned 25 last month. I am jobless, live at my dad's and have no driver's license either and almost all my peers are either making big in their careers or getting married and I just feel so overwhelmed all the time. I lost my mother to cancer 2 years back and i haven't really had any motivation since then. It really helps knowing that there are other people who feel the same and I really hope anyone struggling now eventually feels motivated or content or happy with their life.❤

When I was younger I pictured that by the time im 25 I would have a good social life and enough money to enjoy life. However no one told me that after college most of your friends go their separate ways, some get married some go abroad for studies some just get busy with life and all you have to yourself is your job. Just turned 25 a few months back. Im making enough money but it's a remote job so I'm at home all the time. Don't really have many friends and don't really go out. Its very lonely and depressing.

"I can't keep going through life feeling like I don't deserve anything or good enough to do anything..." - This is such a true fact. tbh, this is what I'm struggling with rn. I don't feel like I deserve anything or good enough. And I think it stems from my low self esteem and confidence, due to the struggle of finding a job in my field. I keep on saying life is unfair because employers always want you to have certain experiences, but not everyone is able to gain those experiences beforehand. I can't help but think, that employers just don't want to train the basics, considering it is a waste of time on their end...so I can't even get a chance to prove myself that I can pick up on the skills quickly. I keep on asking myself what did I do wrong? And truthfully...I didn't have proper goals, and work actively to achieve x y and z...so I regret that. I know i have to change this mindset, knowing that someone will give me a chance, but it's definitely an internal battle. Just trying to stay positive and hoping for the best! I hope the best for you too!

But you definitely are good enough and your mind set will change. I found it helpful to realise that my job is not what makes you happy in life, like it will help to have the job you want but at the end of the day its just a job, The fact that you're self aware enough to understand that you need to change your mind set is amazing. I know how hard it is to actually change it haha but I really hope the best for you too! ❤️

I don't understand the point of renting, you basically give more than 50% of your salary to a random person who was lucky enough to inherit an aprtment/ buy it. I am saving up now to buy my own property.

Thank you for sharing this video and it feels comforting that I'm also kinda in a similar situation as I'm about to turn 26 in 2 months. The only difference is that I'm working after completing my master's degree last year and living far away from my parents but don't know driving yet which I'm ashamed of. I didn't get to learn driving because life got in the way after finishing my undergraduate degree as I felt lost and was confused about what career to pursue. I was actually forced by my parents to pursue an undergraduate degree far from home to another city in a different state because they wanted me to become independent and develop an extroverted personality as I'm an introvert, which I understand for the first reason. But I hated that because the atmosphere was far different where I came from and the people in that college of that city where I studied were biased towards outsiders and fake who only were friendly to locals. Because of that, I felt alone and depressed & it felt like hell for most of my time during the 4 years of my undergraduate degree. But I hang in there and somehow completed my undergraduate degree & moved back home. I took a short break to recover for a short period of time from what I had to go through from years of depression as my mental health deteriorated. But as my parents are strict, they thought I was wasting my time because of the break and not taking any steps to build my career. They pushed and pressured me to take action for choosing career options immediately to avoid employment gaps. So after taking a break of 3 months and under pressure from my strict parents to get back on track, I pursued a postgraduation course which was for 6 months and I had difficulty in finding a job in that field for 1 year. During that 1 year period, I did an internship which was for 2 months as I wanted to gain some exposure in the industry of another field and I didn't get the chance to learn driving as I desperate and trying hard enough to get a job. After 1 year of being unsuccessful in landing a job, I decided to move to a foreign country for studying master's and look for employment opportunities. After completing my master's, I got an unpaid internship at a startup and then it got converted into a contract role where I'm getting paid. Then because of the covid-19 lockdown, I didn't a chance to learn to drive. But everything is slowly reopening here and I plan to take driving lessons soon.

I can relate to this video. People I’ve met are making moves and I’m just so jealous. So jealous that I have to take an Instagram detox to take care of my mental health. I do have my drivers license, but I struggle to drive because I’m just so terrified. It’s what I get for staying at home all the time. Also I left a high-controlling cult a few years ago, which led me to a depression.

I turned 24 today. I’m moved back in with my parents due to Covid and then was injured in multiple (not at fault) car crashes. Due to my injuries I had to give up my career as an early childhood educator. I feel like I’ve been frozen in time for the past year since my head-on-collision car crash. My whole life has been taken over by this car wreck. My weeks are scheduled around my many many medical appointments and trying to pace myself to be able to get through them all. I have a traumatic brain injury that effects my cognitive abilities. I struggle with planning and memory and it is so incredibly frustrating. Now I’m feeling bad for like posting such a negative comment. Im just really struggling right now.

Don't feel bad. I still live at home at 25. I'm working on my bachelor's degree and I work as a paraeducator, so what I make is not livable unfortunately. I always feel bad about it but many people and my parents tell me not to feel bad.

Feel better because I relate to a f**k ton of this, yet I'm a year younger and learned how to drive because the pandemic, (less traffic and not going/doing too much was good for me). But worse because I moved back in w/rents ~3 years ago because I ran out of money and got dr0pped Un!. Am in a internship/education program getting some certs from the Community College and getting into tech. Here's to improving our own self worth's in our own ways.🥂🍻

Tbh Im 24 years old and moved in with my bf here at his parents place cause I had a fall out with my parents and thought moving in with him was a good idea. But after taking time apart deep down inside I want to go back to living with my parents because it’s hard and mainly because I miss my family and I know I’m not ready. and my bf went through so much with my parents that he told me if I ever move back he won’t be with me anymore. But honestly I’m not sure if this whole relationship is what I want because I know there’s more to life that makes me happy. And I guess I still haven’t grown up and I guess it’s the fear of marrying and having kids and a whole family. Nothing wrong with it I’m sure it beautiful but I’m not ready for that and I know I’m not. I guess I feel like why should I give my all to someone when I haven’t even given MYSELF a chance to enjoy things for ONLY ME. But now I’m kinda stuck here because now my bf and I caught covid so can’t really do anything or try to return back to my parents home cause I don’t want to risk them. and my bf would tell me that I’m immature and would joke with me saying “ go run back to mommy and daddy” and It use to hurt but now I’m at the point where I just want my life to myself now, And he’s not a bad bf but I’m not sure if relationships are for me right now.

But once you're all clear from Covid then for sure get yourself out... don't worry what your boyf will say. You need to do what's best for you!! No one else's opinion matters. Wish you all the best x

@@haddyjats yes I’m fine now I actually ended up breaking up with him and moved back and it sucks but I’m back happy and now I want to do things the right way and work on me , myself and I and financially. I’m just happy that I’ll finally start my life for ME. It’s sucks that I had to hurt him but this is only for my happiness. I felt like he was happy because he had everything but I wasn’t happy and he could never see that because his world was complete and this whole fairytale but mines wasn’t. I had to do what was best for me.

Hello! how are you? I liked your video. I understand you perfectly, At least you can work, or get a Job but I don't .I am also still living with my parents, I am 24 and the truth is I would like to be able to move but I'm afraid because I don't know anything about that, I don't have any experience. And the truth is that at this moment I can't move, I am studying in collage, I am an international student, I am legal in the USA but I can't work because my visa does not allow me to work, and I don't have my driver's license yet. The truth is that this situation worries me a lot, it is frustrating sometimes. I don't know when or how long I'll be able to make my life on my own.
