Dante isn't something you can just brush by

Alternatively, if you get your channels from a separate input rack, you can do what I do: Rack->WSG->X32->WSG (all auxes out, main)->In-Ears. Latency is still hell though. Still, very good video, thank you for posting this. Learned a lot from watching this.

You Could use all Auxes as inputs, if you set another userinput Block to use the Auxes and you have to use an Input Block for these Userinput. But you definitely loose the Aux Outputs.

Could you make this same video for the Wing? I want to use dante on the Wing with Waves Superrack.

Either you don’t test these videos out to completion or you purposely leave out if this works or not. I’ve tried multiple of your videos and none of them work. I’ve tried building the I/O from scratch and it still doesn’t work this way through Dante.

I’m trying to configure just the auxes inserts as the video shows via dante but i already have dante coming from another board. It shouldn’t be a problem but user auxes are to getting the user routing for some reason. Still playing with it. My inputs for the x32 are dante no local as your demo.

I’d split the console in 2 and run channels 17-32 as doubles of 1-16 don’t send channels 17-32 to front of house or waves rack and use them for foldback only that way you can process them separately and not have any of the latency in the foldback that front of house gets, it’s pretty rare that I’d need more then 16 channels to do the average rock band

Does the laptop's network card have to be a special Dante one or a simple 10/100/1000?

Thanks Drew. I've recently bought an X32 compact (with X Dante) and need feedback suppression that the X32 doesn't have. However I have a Symetrix DSP with Dante so can use that as an 'outboard' rack of sorts. I was wondering how to use Dante as inserts, you've (more or less) answered it for me. The difference being I'd prefer to send a group rather than single channel, so for example 2 or 4 rifle mics grouped and sent to feedback suppression as a group. I'm guessing it's essentially the same process? I've not had chance to dig in properly yet :)

@Drew I would love to see a video on how to set X32 EQ for ELECTRONIC DRUMS, for example the ROLAND T27 on the X32. Is this something you can cover ?

@@EqDior Yes sir, that is exactly what I need. The drums always sound really heavy in the MID and not much else. Hope there is a happy medium that can be used with good success.. Thank you !!!

@Ron's Vintage Electronics honestly doing a low cut at around 25 to 35hz and cutting some low mids some where between 300 to 500 should get u in the ball park. Kind of hard to give u exact measurements without hearing the drums in your room though. Hope this helps

I checked on the Audinate website, and they list “1, 2, or 5ms” latency for the usb-a/usb-c 2in/2out adaptors, the same as for the xlr in/out adaptors.

Does this work for the wing?

Good video, with the exception of your incorrect use of the word "utilize".
