Just picked up the flow 8 and have been toying with it, pleasantly surprised of it’s quality and built in fx, ease of using an iPhone. I’ll definitely use this approach in using the limiter for my microphone as I experienced distortion when I get too high. Love the simple set up and you play the keys really well!

I just discovered your channel and I love what you do. I am actually inspired to set up my own room with a simular mood to yours.

Im abit confused on your Bluetooth channel what audio is going in ? Or is it possible to output audio to devices for a broadcast? 😅 and will it be posible to be running the mixer not only on power supply but USB 5v? Will it work normally also phantom won’t stop working ? 😊

Great video, just wondering your thoughts on MXL 770, and why you chose the 990 over 770. Most readings i did recommend the 770 over the 990 for piano. Also I noticed in some videos you had the piano lid off the piano. Do you prefer one sounds over the other. How do you handle room noises, or is that not an issue. I am also experimenting micing my yamaha G3. Thanks, you do great videos. I like how you ended up preferring the cheaper mics over expensive one, and the sound is very pleasing.

good to know! I took the lid off the C7 to get my mics 12in above the strings. However, I lost a lot of bass resonance and ended putting the lid back on! I have 1in panels on the wall closest to the piano and above with some diffusers. I've realized the room does play a big part on the sound if you plan to use ambient mic positions.
