My dear friend, it is very complex matter to know the truth abt genuine due to monetary interests of prevailing top brass of military & civil beaurocracy n GOI. See all we know that top officials in military n civil + politician r for limited time, smtms for 6 M to a Year or 2, if the deal is done within his this periode he gets benefits of it if not, then No. So such ppl wish to go for big purchases smtms so project situation as urgent as possible to force the govt procurement. Like many vested interested dalals bark in public for such scarcities like when many companies when left China, dalals here cried to ease laws to attract such entities, sameway like 114 fighter jets deal etc. If GOI must hv relaxed the laws in hurry n haste to attract all such companies he could have conceded many unwanted thing as were demanded by such companies eg Tesla etc, But luckily Modi got the reality n did not succumb, same way 114 MRFA deal etc he understood the game, as ur Tejas progressed , willingness of foriegn countries increasing more n more by every quarter with accepting the Indian conditions of deal, same way when dumped by congress, Kaveri engine got relife n under production GE n Safran submitted to co operate. Why not earlier? All military civilian wish by as much as possible under their regime to get away with......... But now what you get is appx real n genuine as Modi has created doubts abt sitting bosses in minds of companies. Has 126 Rafaels purchase at one go, by now the very costly upgrade of initial aircrafts as well as supply of new aircrafts of same deal could hv been going on paralally as in Congress regimes. So brother understand .....

India needs to build more and more submarines and frigates for navy as soon as possible thier is no need for 3rd aircraft carrier first concentrate on subs and frigates to be a powerful navy ....hope Indian govt takes steps towards it ...jai hind

Since we have 7500 km coastal length, we need 10 more ship building docks and 15 more ship yards very big shipyards otherwise india cannot control indian Ocean and Arabian sea beware of US,NATO, CHINA these thre might swallow our sea within 75 years. India need 1 crore humans to engage in maritime in maritime R&D, Manufacturing industry, sailors, coastal professionals, submarine 75, coverts 100, miners 50, aircraft carriers 6 more, destroyers 75, crussers 100 ...... This navy can creat 1 crore jobs and safety for india upto 200 years if this is applied.

Can we not consider the building/fabrication of the bottom Hull and top cover of Submarine in two uneqal halfs horizontally, the bottom/ Hull in an upright position and the upper half/casing in an up side down position and then integrated, where we dont have the liberty of Natural Deep Docks.

It was.. called the Arighat.. but clearly not a finalized design as we have not inducted it yet.. and the S4 design has been launched into the water as well..

Sir Steel required for Submarines has been developed already. And ballestic missile subs built using those only..
