Having worked for some time on EastEnders in the past, I can safely say Rona IS the show and it was a total privilege to work with her. So glad she’s getting the love. She deserves it.

I used to be friends with Barrie Shore who may or may not still be a writer for East Enders.

Rona is AWESOME! We want more of her 100% She is a lady who really loves her job doesn't she.

Great production team behind the scenes.Another reason why Eastenders is winning all the fan awards for best soap.

Rona is the very definition of someone living their best life. She’s always so 100% engaged in everything she does. I love her!

Loved this stunt! I really appreciate all the detail that goes into everything. This is why EastEnders is the best soap. 😉

Pretty shocking to see a Walford landmark go up in flames. This stunt was very beautifully put together. The explosion was like something out of a Hollywood blockbuster.

Phenomenal? Really? Nah...its completely ridiculous, over the top nonsense, we've seen these dramatic, destructive, accidents, 10 a penny, on other soaps all the time, nothing remotely original in any of it!

It was totally amazing, and a credit to the whole team at Eastenders. Great to see the behind the scenes story as well. Makes me really appreciate all the hard work that goes into episodes like this.

I like the quality over quantity thats present here - back in the day, soaps used to drag a whole week for a fire - unless its needed like when the Queen Vic burnt down that needed a few extra episodes but this was on point - its a shame we dont get an episode on a Friday no more as finding out what happens next is a whole weekend wait now

It was excellent to watch,well done to all the cast and crew!...it was a very gripping episode..shame that brian conley is leaving soon though,i like him as rocky.

Our thoughts is with the characters Rocky, Bobby & Peter ❤️ Man this was good, you can tell Rona MacKendrick is so into her job that it isn’t surprising why we have amazing dooh doohs. Context haven’t watched the clip yet, so bloody must do it before the next episode. The Six is approaching.

Sorry to be negative but just one thought; why couldn’t this have happened when Freddie was around. Would have been a great way to bring them back together. One conversation before Freddie gets in the taxi surely won’t fix everything.

Rocky needs to own up and tell Kathy he caused the cafe to blow up , or Harvey needs to tell her , hope Peter and Bobby are ok .

I have lived in the same street of 16 houses for 37 years. In that time we have had one burglary. Nothing has blown up, no one has been murdered, no rapes, no kidnaps, no drug issues, no long lost relatives turning up, no bus crashes.

Even though rocky caused the fire, kathy is responsible because she knew about the faulty electrics for a while and did nothing about it, when you have an electric problem, whether it's at home or a business, you call an electrician straight away, if rocky hadn't of set the fire, it would have happened eventually

This is why I stopped watching. It stopped being entertaining!!!

If you want to know what’s coming up in Eastenders, just watch the re runs on drama channel each day as clearly the exec producer is blatantly mirroring the classic ones and copying and pasting to the present ones!!! A few examples… Classic Eastenders just had Graham rape little mo/ present day Eastenders just brought Graham back. Classic Eastenders had Billy burn down angies den with Vikki inside, present day Eastenders just burnt down the cafe with Bobby inside. Classic Eastenders just brought back dirty den from the dead, present day Eastenders just brought back Cindy from the dead. Classic Eastenders just had Ash ferrieria gamble the mortgage money in the bookies and lost, present day Eastenders just had Rocky gamble the rent money in the sane bookies and lost. Shall I go on??? The exec producer obviously can’t come up with any decent new storylines of his own, if the abysmal kidnapping of Sharon’s baby is anything to go by then it’s no wonder he’s copying and pasting from the past , all Keanu had to do was walk back with the baby and say he went to the park or something, but no they had to stage this pathetic kidnapping , it was an insult to the viewers intelligence !!! So what’s happening in classic Eastenders right now? Andy just blackmailed kat in to sleeping with him, let’s see if they do the same with Dean in the Eastenders this week, oh I forgot another example, classic Eastenders just had Laura (Bobbys mum) die, and in this exact same week it looks as if Bobby might die. Seriously this producer is stealing blatantly from the past episodes on drama, you got me at it now, another thing he stole, in classic Eastenders they just brought in Yolande, at the exact sane time in present day Eastenders they just literally brought back yolande again!!! Classic Eastenders just brought back dirty Den from the dead, present day Eastenders just brought Cindy back from the dead!!Seriously I could be here all day giving you examples!! So if you want to know what’s going to happen, watch classic Eastenders on drama each day to see what this exec producer is going to steal next!!!!

“steal”? mate, it’s a long-running soap opera… there’s bound to be repeated storylines and taboo subjects tackled time and time again. Do you expect the producers to make new stuff up? just because something is done once, doesn’t mean it can’t be done again or society is fixed.

@@coledinesDo you watch other soaps because Corrie and Emmerdale do the same thing. All soaps do this and have done for years. There really arent’t any new stories just rearrangements and new twists of one’s that have already been done.
