Behind The Set of Locke & Key
Locke & Key has become one of Netflix’s most popular fantasy series-- and it’s no surprise considering all the imaginative elements that have gone into the show’s creation. Keyhouse is filled with mysteries-- and keys-- and the town of Matheson introduces us to unique places like the Drowning Caves. But how many of these places are real? How did the show’s sets bring the magic to life?
How the show was filmed is dramatically different from what we see on Netflix. There are so many questions to answer-- how much of Keyhouse is real? What about the Wellhouse? And how does the show make its characters travel the world with the Anywhere Key? The entire town the show is set in is fictional, so the show’s creators picked a quaint Canadian village as their filming location. However, Keyhouse isn’t even located in the same town-- and the house’s interior scenes are filmed far away from Keyhouse’s outdoor set.

Locke & Key is an appealing show because it features a captivating, magical world, but also thanks to its cast of likable characters.
Locke and key is SO good!
I've always been impressed what american can do in cinema, this house who was built for the show is just insane, it's perfectly well done like tribute to comics. I wish I could live in a house like this, it's maybe weird to say but it looks really cool to live.
My wife and i enjoyed watching it! Love the casting..they played the characters right. Is there a season 3 coming up soon..?😅

They actually filmed season 3 right after the 2d season, but I can imagine it will come around the fall of 2022

A great brilliant fantastic Entertainment 3 Full Seasons with every Eposide very well put together without any fail or doubt guaranteed 💯. A great family entertainment tv Netflix to watch and I still don't won't understand why the 3 seasons didn't make it to DVD Boxset Complete. Because I can guarantee 💯 without any fail or doubt it will sell and make vast amounts of money in and around the world. Stranger Things did make it to Dvd and its sold very well in and around the world. Many other fantastic great brilliant Netflix Boxsets after showing on Netflix. They all made it to Dvd Boxsets Complete. Even many Brilliant fantastic great Korean TV also. And Lock and Key didn't and as far as I know won't be going on to DVD Boxset. That's not good for many same as me in and around the world who want to by it for my collection. DVD collection that is. Why many other great brilliant Netflix TV Boxsets make it to Dvd without fail or doubt guaranteed and Lock and Key didn't. Not all of us can't Download TV films Boxsets. Very strange how Lock and Key won't be going on to Dvd Boxset. And somehow all others Will and do. That goes against watching what we love and looking forward to getting on Dvd when it comes out. Like watching a great brilliant Film at the Cinema and it's so great we can't wait for its Dvd Realise. And it didn't get the all clear for Dvd to sell in and around the world. Question what then will happen after Netflix Finish with Lock and Key. Will it still not be going to Dvd Boxset Complete Seasons Realise. Lock and Key Seasons 1, 2 , 3 uncut full versions. So if they finally at last are going on to Dvd make sure the famous Happy Scissors ✂️ Shredding to pieces don't get first hold of it. They as always cut out many great brilliant fantastic scenes that put the film into place.
Update: the Sweet Treasures confectionery mentioned at 6:22 no longer exists, but is now an off-shoot of the Salt Shaker Deli called the Salvador Bar, where people waiting to sit at the (often) busy restaurant can get their drinks while waiting for a dining table!
That house is absolutely beautiful!

I live in Nova Scotia. Lunenburg is a beautiful town and I’ve visited the ovens a few times. I highly recommend people come visit.
