@jerry atrick I live in Taranaki, New Zealand having migrated from Santa Cruz area (where I lived and surfed for 30 years) in 2005. Now I am a dual American/Kiwi citizen. I was active in the local surf scene here in Naki I was qualified to judge comps. We had a local girl of 15 in 2005 who was winning all the comps. Her name is Paige Hareb and she has been on the tour for a while now. She is a backsider like Tatiana and Caroline. Paige was the one who caught my interest. For a couple of years we had a ASP women's event here in New Plymouth. Stephie Gilmore won it one year in excellent pumping surf. I got to meet all the pros and they are amazing athletes. It was an honor to meet them in person. The women just seem to have more of the stoke than the men who surf so damn good they are like machines.

When caroline realizes she doesn't actually have to do what her parents keep telling her to do she is gonna go nuts. First of all their trying to say shes gonna go to college while on tour? Ya good luck with that. You either devote everything to surfing and being the best or you do that with school. You cant do both without them suffering. And that old school thinking that a collage degree in anything is automatically gonna give you a job. When is she getting this job from her degree? After she travels around the world for 10 plus years? Please. Shes gonna be a totally different person. Then dictating her clothing. This is all so toxic. She has no life. Her parents run it. Sad. I hope she doesnt go off the deep end from all the new found freedom of adulthood. Shes been strapped down so long she doesnt realize its Her life with her own decisions and not her parents

Dumb question. These are professional athletes. Of course they work out

How you gonna say your heart is in brasil when you were brought up and what shaped you is in the states. Your heart is in the United States. But when your bf is from brasil and there is this popularity with brasil, you jump on the bandwagon. This is the most popular brasil has been ever in the surfing world. So you cant tell me that didnt play a role in her decision to do that. Now im seeing she lives on Kauai during the off season. Stay true to what made you who you are.

How can you say that? Have you ecen experienced something like having parents from two differemt countries? Her mom is freaking brazilian and it's not like this doesn't impact her life just because she was raised in the states. I talk from experience as a half brazilian that was raised in another country and I assure you that it becomes a part of you, a part of your daily life and you heritage. Don't talk about stuff you don't know.

The difference between the two is Tatiana can’t do an air to save her life imagine call yourself a pro surfer 🤡
