Recently I had the pleasure of attending the Barbados Rum Experience out on the beautiful Island of Barbados.
I took a load of photos and got a lot of video footage. So much footage that it’s taken me up until now to edit this down to a manageable length.
In this video I have pieced together footage of my tour around the beautiful St Nicholas Abbey with Larry Warren, owner and founder of St Nicholas Abbey and their wonderful Rum that is made using their own grown sugar cane, crushed, fermented, distilled and matured on site.
St Nicholas Abbey is a calm and revitalising place and I hope this video reflects that, with slightly longer shots and more dialogue from the hosts.
Sit back and relax as I guide you through this absolute gem of a distillery,
Lewis

Really excellent documenting of this experience. Also to have Christian Seale (from the RL Seale rum family) on the tour was a great addition.
amazing tour of the distillery !
Awesome
Great video helped us make the decision to book this excursion for our upcoming cruise
Nice one, Lewis! I can smell the sugar cane juice mixed with tropical air from here!

Thank you legend!!!
Hmmm... I can almost feel the warmth of the sun on my back, and the smell of the Rum. Might have to treat myself to a small measure of SNA right now. Actually - there is no 'might' about it.

Hope you are mentally wearing suntan lotion... love to join you for that SNA, some of that unreal 8 or 10yr old?! Wow!!
Many many Years ago there was a family run rum business. Family name best not sure what part of the island they was from. Any knowledge on them ?
