My playtime was over 150hours, couldn’t stop it. However HZD was the one I’vegot obsessed with. Collecting all the datapoints to gather info from the puzzle pieces and finally put everything together was such a great experience. Nevertheles HFW was close to it.

RIP Lance... There will never be another Sylens or human being like you. Truly a great person who poured his heart and soul into everything he did, no matter if it was voice acting/motion capture for a video game or great shows/movies like Fringe (loved him as Agent Broyles!) and recently John Wick Chapter 4. The world has lost a wonderful human being.

This game did something to me as well. I recently bought a bunch of Horizon related stuff (the HZD Collector’s Edition Aloy statue, Horizon stickers, the game guides, etc.) I’m even planning on getting a Horizon inspired tattoo. I don’t know what it is about Horizon, but I’ve never been this invested in a game before. That’s not to say that there aren’t other games I love, this one is just very special to me.

I sunk 95 hours into the game and refused to play the last mission until every nook and cranny and side question and my own made up quests were fulfilled. Then I finished the game, loved it, felt sad that it ended, and wanted much much more. Thank you all for making such an epic game with such an epic and original story. Please don't take too long to make the next one! =)

Hearing the enthusiasm Lance Reddick has for Sylens and the overall world of Horizon is a nice reminder of just how far videogame voice acting has come since I started around gaming 25 years ago. Back in the late 90s/early 2000s if you ever had a celebrity voice over in a game (even a b list celebrity), they would usually treat the job as just another paycheck and phone in the voice work, not caring even a little about the game in question. There were some exceptions back then (Samuel L. Jackson, Thomas Jane, Vin Diesel) but for every one of those, you'd have two "Tobey Maguire in the Spider-Man 2 game" voice performances. I suppose it's become kind of impossible at this point for big name actors to ignore the gaming industry though, it makes more money every year than the entire film and music industries combined. Not to mention that Hollywood (and in particular big name streaming services) are always looking for the next big budget, long form storytelling hit a la Game of Thrones to do big numbers for them, which is why we're seeing such a huge push for adapting AAA videogame properties lately.

I recognized her familiar body moves and that her posture - keeping head up for example. It isntrange how many details we are perceive unconsciously.

I am 66 years old, and I have to say I have been playing video games since the 90's and the character of Aloy is one of the most realistic of all games. If AI gets much better, I may end up becoming part of the MATRIX... Interesting to find out which characters in video games intrigued or even excited you the most.

I have nothing to add to the comments below. This is a truly breathtaking masterpiece that i'm so obsessed with

Horizon is one of the VERY VERY few games where the trailers are mediocre at least. But once one person plays and we all find out it is one of the best games. And once you start the game you are hooked and before you know it you wanna find out everything you have questions about. I love these games so far. I only hope that Horizon 3 will be just as good.

Kotallo is one of my favorite characters. He is of the very few if not the only one who actually has a character arc. Not even Alloy has one, she is on top of her game all the time.

@@greenkitchenpng in part yes, but she makes no mistakes, falls into desperation or has a down moment, even when Rost died, she continued her journey as if nothing happened. They made him some justice un forbidden west. Imagine if Alloy by helping a tribe, puts her in direct conflict with another one and she has to decide who to help and who to be enemies with. How about if a random soldier she kills turns out to be a father and now she is accountable. As she becomes a leader for many, she also turns into the villain to others. Just fun ideas to try. I would very much like to se her more relatable. One thing I really like is how she rolls her eyes at beta all the time. she clearly doesn't stand her.

This is with out a doubt, one of the best RP game I’ve ever played. Still playing. All these voice actors not only compliment this game but they really bring it to life.

These games are unbelievable. They bring me back to the feelings I had sitting in the living room playing ocarina of time and majoras mask on the family tv. An unforgettable journey through a breathtaking world.

I finished the game and just play open world and hunt bots and grind for gear. I love it. Also Kotallo is one of my favorite characters, the quest where you get him the new arm is touching.

An aspect of the story of Horizon reminds me of something Neil Degrasse Tyson said about the universe in relation to knowledge, in that he wonders if there are questions that we should be asking but didn't know to ask because that knowledge is hidden away from us by time and distance.

This is by far the most immersive open world game I've seen, I'm so in love with the world, the tribes, the characters, etc. that I'm still searching for content about it even after finishing the game months ago.

REST IN PEACE LANCE. You will be missed

This has to be the best game I've ever played and the actors have done a truly amazing job at bringing the characters to life. The game developers have also done a superb job with the game. RIP Sylens. You will be so very missed. Horizon is a game for the ages.

One of the best games I ever played. Video games are definitely a modern form of art and the Horizon series is a masterpiece.

R.I.P to my boy Lance Reddick. He was also the voice of Zavala in Destiny 2 as well. What a great actor he was.

I don't think I've ever loved a game so much, apart from Skyrim. Feeling the raw emotions from each character and feeling like in that game with them is truly amazing. This game is absolutely breath taking and the story is awesome as well.

Masterpiece of a game. I didn't finish it/plat it til recently (due to Elden Ring) but I have now and it was brilliant.

Kotallo is my favourite character ever. His attitude, his discipline, and his developement are perfect.

Probably the best game ever made. Not only are the graphics absolutely gorgeous, the game play is super fun and complex. The characters are wonderfully acted and written. And these games have the best writing I've ever seen in any medium, not just a video game. The story is truly what stands out to me as absolutely brilliant and compelling. It all comes together into a pretty close to perfect package.

First of all I want to say, this was a great video, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had no idea Tilda was voiced by Carrie Anne Moss, very neat!. I was blown away by all the areas of the map you can visit in the game. The creatures are so unique and more diversified in this sequel, it keeps you on your toes. I find myself getting anxious but giddy when I have to take on the Apex versions of each creature for their parts. *Spoiler upcoming* When I first visited the area of Las Vegas, I was taken aback. I instantly recognized so many of the buildings (I live in Vegas) and it was such a blast to see what they did with it and when you beat the area, if you collect orbs of light (forgot the name) through the world, you can bring them back and see a fantastic themed light show at night there. And lastly, when I tamed the Sunwing and am flying, the creators added in birds that will fly next to you sometimes and it just such a great treat to see. I have numerous screenshots of flying with an owl or other bird just feet from Aloy up there. My only 'issue' with this game is, swimming in the oceans, and there being creatures in there. A little too realistic for my taste. And the cauldron that was almost all water, and I knew how the boss fight was going to go down, terrified me. I actually missed the gate to open the waterway to go to the next room and had to fight it in a small enclave that I had no room to move on and had a laser grate, so, yeah, real fun. Strangely enough, though, I love swimming in the rivers though. It's quite relaxing and soothing. I spam the radar ping function like a madman, but it's still soothing. A fun and challenging game. Highly recommend it.

I agree about the swimming. That was my least favorite part and I just couldn’t do the under water cauldron. Something about being under the water and seeing that yellow then res warning… the panic made my BP go up so I had to bypass that one!

I'm with you guys lol...especially since I'm early in the game still and have zero ability to defend myself underwater. I hate swimming in every game though, so it's nothing new at least and I knew it was gonna be stressful for me. 😂

The graphics of the game is absolutely breathtaking and stunning. They look so real and just absolutely beautiful. The actors are also very well done and did such a great job showing how this game changes the characters. And the soundtrack is harmonizing as well I love listening to the soundtrack its like being taken to a new world, this world and admiring the beauty around

This game completely absorbed my life (when I wasn't at work). The details, the characters and their journeys, the story... everything had my utmost attention! I cried for Varl; I will miss seeing him. And rest in peace, Lance Reddick, who will also be dearly missed. I really wish that Burning Shores would be released for PS4, but I understand that the console just can't handle what they're doing. Wish me luck in getting a PS5 soonishly.

Скорее два проекта. Разработчики действительно создали что-то новое в игровой индустрии,не похожее на остальное и это завораживает,как и сама история и сам мир игровой вселенной,такие игры появляются раз в очень много лет.

This is the best game for me. I am a huge fan of this game. I have a Platinum Trophy in Zero Dawn. And I think I will have another one for Forbidden West )))

I hope Forbidden West gets remembered as truly one of the great achievements in gaming. I'm not sure I've played a game where I can absolutely FEEL how much work went into this huuge beautiful experience. I know triple A games get milined these days, but this game is a great example of the best of what you can do with the resources and commitment.

I really hope this is where the future of AAA games is because this is what I'm here for. I have been continually blown away at the quality of everything in this game especially the writing, the characters and the pacing. I can't wait for the next book/game in the series if there is one and man I really hope there is one. The only thing that would make it better is if it was in VR.

This game is literally the most fun open world experience I've had since RDR2 and easily on par with it. Obv the graphics were next level though. I've spent so many hours with Aloy's face shoved into moss on a rock going WOW SO DETAILED lmfao. Absolutely LOVE this game and it couldn't have been a better follow up to Zero Dawn. I cannot WAIT for the DLC, but more importantly, the next game. But I will wait. It's worth it. Also, the character animations for even just side quest NPCs, and I mean literally every single NPC in this game, were outstanding. It was VERY immersive and the amount of work the devs put into this game, taking all the feedback from Zero Dawn, is very, very apparent in every possible way. It's expressive, immersive, fluid, and every single character no matter how big or small, feels like they got the full treatment. They felt like people, not quest givers. Forbidden West may have ruined me for other games now because everything feels like it has half the immersion because the side characters don't get the same animation treatment. That, I think, speaks to what the team achieved with this game. It's truly spectacular. I played on my Ps5 but will also be very excited to see it on my beast of a PC, too. I can't wait to compare and see if there are any differences. It runs so well on the PS5 and really showcased what the console is capable of, so I'm curious if the PC will add a slight edge above that, or be identical.

IMO, in many ways, it's better than rdr2. Rdr2 was just way too scripted

I just finished the game and I only NOW realise that Tilda was played by Carrie Ann Moss... Damn.

As a HUGE fan of the Assassin's Creed saga. I must say that HFW is another level of motion capture. By the cinematic that I saw in YT videos, they are a light year ahead of the other game producers. Guerrila must have the best motion capture system avaiable.

The beautiful thing about today's games are the amazing actors who bring them to life. Two of the best games I've ever played. Steve 👍

I´m on PC and was blown away from the vast Story and map in HZD when it came out on PC. After beating that Game I was eager to play HFW and almost bought a PS5 just to be able to play it. Now it has been released on PC, and I'm so grateful that Guerilla decided to have it ported to PC as well. I'm just at the beginning of HFW and fight my way through the No mans land...seeing this Video now makes me so hyped what my journey has yet to offer.

Guerrilla has delivered a great sequel to Zero Dawn with Forbidden West! A compelling story, awesome characters and new machines, beautiful graphics and wonderfully fitting music and singing! This isn't just a game, it's art! Looking forward to the DLC Burning Shores and Call of the Mountain, along with the VR2. Thanks all!
