Dollywood, Thank You for keeping all of us SAFE.
"I'm gunna jump" and "I gotta weak back" is funny every time. Best, D. From Stl.
This is one of my favorite rides here! I love how the operator of the ride yells "FIRE IN THE HOLE!" when the train starts moving!:)

Technically it isn’t a Dollywood classic, as the ride was first made in silver dollar city and then put into Dollywood.
I rode this about 11 years ago, when I went to Dollywood and was one of my favorites ;)
I've been trying to figure out the ride layout for years. I enjoy stuff like this because I like the technical stuff behind coasters and dark rides
I love the Blazing Fury so much. It's my favorite ride! 💘❤💟💞💝💜💛💚💙💗💖💕💜😻😍😘
Storytime. I have ridden this a hundred times since I was 5, up until I was 9. Then the next time i went to Dollywood i was 32, taking my 7yo son for the first time.. Twenty three years since I last rode it. My son sitting next to me. And out of nowhere I found myself speaking the lines out loud as we rode past each scene, still remembering every word.. "I gotta weak back!" "You look like you've been kissin' that steam train!" "FIRE IN THE HOLE!" ..it was like that guy who has seen a movie a million times and has to quote it the entire time he watches it. Twenty three years and it was still like yesterday. And this my friends is why coaster enthusiasts get upset when old boring coasters become defunct. Its not that they were "good". Its hard to argue that Blazing Fury is "good". Its because of the feels they get from the nostalgia. Now my son will have that nostalgia for Blazing Fury as well. Eight years old now, and an enthusiast like his daddy. After he gets his rides on Wild Eagle, Tornado and Rod, he always begs for one more ride on Blazing Fury before we leave. Always hits me right in the feels. Awesome content In The Loop!

Stories like yours is what life is all about Jesse. God bless you and the family and enjoy your little guy every second you can, the years go by quick.
I never had an idea that it looped over itself.thanks for the video.
This ride is a classic. If they ever get rid of it, all us locals will cry. I've ridden it more than 30 times in my life lmao
I used to work for Disney. Always walked through the rides as a job responsibility. It was called Show Quality. It was nice to see that your video was done legitimately.
Thanks for the vid. There isn't any part of the amusement park industry I don't love. It's a hard industry with parks closing all the time. :( Dollywood is amazing. I hope it lives and thrives forever.
It sucks about the water.... but it does make a lot of sense. Gotta keep the best interests of the structure of the ride itself in mind!
Love Miss Dolly and Dollywood, God bless

This was absolutely fascinating! I loved this ride when it was silver dollar city.

One the best rides I been on
If they do put a scene after the bridge and before the train, they should make it a robbery scene, similar to the one that used to be at SDC's fire in the hole. A group of robbers stand at the track pointing rifles at the ride vehicle as it passes. Behind the robbers, a campsite is in the woods. Several tents scattered along the ground, a spit with a turkey roasting on it. A carriage with a broken wheel sits to one side, bags of money spill out of the back doors of the carriage. On top of the bags is a trunk full of jewels and jewelry, a robber sits next to it, a money bag in each hand wearing bejeweled necklaces, bracelets, rings, and even earrings. A group of about 5 people are behind the robbers all of them wearing Victorian cloths and raising their hands into the air, another robber points a rifle at them. As we pass by, a robber pops up from behind a bush and fires his rifle at the ride vehicle.
Not knocking the new LED fire effects, but did you see the difference (as opposed to the old, practical) when they finally reached the bridge?? Classic, theatrical-goodness :) I grew up with this ride; it tugs on my heart-strings. RIP Flooded Mine.

I just saw all of the recent upgrades last month (I was there around the 7th of December) and was surprised that there were changes, both in animatronics and lighting.

I tried to get on this 3/23/20, season passholder day, but it went down for maintenance just before I got in. What a classic! Looking back, I was lucky I was there on Friday with the 2020 season on hold! Made it an extra special day.
Great video.

Super Cool.👍👍👍
I love this ride
It would be really cool to theme the areas that need theming with the old "Lost Dutchmans Mine" that was in "Frontier Villiage" in San Jose California. Im not sure if any props are left from that ride, but everyone loved it and this ride would be perfect to pay homage to that.
I used to work at 'Blazing Fury,' interesting to see the changes made since I was there.
I wonder what they earn. I'd love to get a job there doing maintenance! I loved Dollywood growing up and Blazing Fury was always one of my favorites.
Even thru I live here and use to work their this is one of my favorite rides wishing one day I will be back there real soon to enjoy everything that is that Deborah smith use to work their in 97

For sure.
The part of the video about nine minutes in where the guy talks about the Reed headstone is really eerie and heartbreaking now. Michael's wife Constance and their two daughters were killed in the Gatlinburg fires. I wonder what Dollywood will do with the headstone now, especially since it's inside an attraction about a burning mountain town

This was my first roller coaster ever
They took out SO MUCH
As a descendent of a Baldknobber I can honestly say that they were not a vigilante group. They formed because there was no established law offices in the area at the time. They become they law enforcement, they they fought in the civil war on the side of the union, and had members who were black. Near the end of the 1800s a minority of them decided to abuse their powers and in reality became the bad guys, the group got a bad rep, and when we got other law enforcement in it was a death penalty to be one.
We've contracted them to do the track. Are you sure about that?
I rode this 1 day ago and today I love it I only hate how it speeds up before it goes down the drops it kinda makes me come outta my seat
Good vid
In the Loop how did you get a tour by the way I think a behind-the-scenes tour of mystery mine would be cool
I wish Six Flags over Texas and the State fair of Texas had a ride like this one...
the final drop is called "Fire In The Hole" 5h 2nd is a a train the first one is a bridge
They need to bring back the flooded mine. Dollywood today is a great park, However It has lost a lot of it's charm of what made it a special place to visit. Now it is way to commerical
Flooded Mine still runs at Silver Dollar City. Definitely has whiskers....
