Id probably cry everytime id see a baby being born if I was a nurse. Babies are so cute to watch the minute the baby comes out I'm like 🥹

I'm 15 and this has been my dream career since I was 9. Excited to one day study this profession:)

Granddaughter is a L & D nurse at Houston Methodist Sugarland. She loves the job!

I am in my 3rd semster of ASN nursing and will be moving to Houston afterwards so I hope to be in this exact position soon!This is my life dream!

wow. This is amazing! I am a freshman in college. My main goal is to become a RN and become a labor and delivery nurse! My dream to become a nurse in the Methodist Hospital! 😭🥰

A belated congrats on your baby! I love your energy :) it seems that 30% of what you do there could be done by volunteers but not sure if your hospitals allows them in L & D

Granddaughter just finished L&D nurse residency Sugarland. She, herself, will deliver there in June.

My mom always taught me to have a backup plan, but that doesn't mean you should give up on your dream because nobody will hire you, the world works in mysterious ways ❤❤

​​ Perhaps you've been misinformed. I know several universities that have advanced degree programs in midwifery. I wish people were better informed before they give false information. In my state several of the midwives have had their degrees for a decade or more.

Why so long name? In British it is midwife or accoucheuse

Because there is a little difference between midwife and l&d nurse. Also accoucheuse is French for midwife. Not saying what you use it’s wrong. I’m saying to why they probably choose that title for this video
