***** Do you even know what hosting the Oscars means? As Ellen said, it's probably the biggest honour. If you succeed, everyone loves you. If you don't have the good jokes, every one will talk about that. With "pressure" I mean exactly that. You'd have to be constantly funny and top your last years performance. Why would anyone do that if you get the chance to host the Oscars every 5 years or smth like that?

Writing scripts with Ellen must be the most hilarious job in the world.

I personally LOVED this Oscars because she does make celebrities seem very normal and relaxed. She made the show obviously enjoyable for not just the audience at home but also the audience in the auditorium. You could also tell that they were so happy that she had pizza.
