I have mix feeling watching this. I have never seen people live this close to each other. The tour seems to walk through their private space. But there seem t be no private space. Tight. The children are the lucky ones, always happy. Can't imagine how they make a living, or for that matter retire, if there is such a thing. And what about medical treatment. Covid? Don't breathe. Lots of nice motorcycles though. Like I said, mix feelings.

You'll never want to leave. Did the same solo in '89, got married and stayed 3 years. Left but then came back for good 7 years ago.

I am from ireland. I have been in a long distance relationship with a filipino lady of similar age for about 7 years. I have been over there twice ie 2018 and 2023. She lives in a barangay in butuan. After coming back in 2018, I only remembered the good things. Now after coming back for the second time, I am still remembereing the bad , which are cockroaches, toilet full of flies, and unless transport was available not being able to go anywhere. Right now I am trying to get her over here.

WOWI Great video, I just ran into this video and what a coincidence I grew up in that area on Rolling Road, I left in 1980 and cam back for a year in 87-88 and have never gone back since wow it's day and night. I would love to go back and visit. I miss PI! Keep up the great walk around vids i felt like I was there with you.

Very nice people. Even though there is poverty they are very friendly and polite. My respects to you.

Surroundings may not be ideal but I see families, mothers taking care of their babies, children playing and laughing, that's a wonderful thing.

久しぶりに、スラム街の映像を見ました。 大人も子どもも、そして犬や鶏も生き生きと楽しく暮らしているように、感じました。 特に、子どもたちは撮影者をまるで歓迎していたかのように、無邪気で元気な感じでした。 富裕層と貧困層（いわゆる１％対９９％）の格差が問題になって久しいですが、私たちは自分自身の生活が良くなっているせいかこの問題に関して忘れがちです。 よって、この動画を見て貧富の差ができてしまったのは一体何が原因なのかなど、貧困問題について改めて考え直すきっかけになりました。 日本などの先進国も、この問題は決して対岸の火事ではなく自国でも起きていることですので、全世界の人々が貧困問題について真剣に考えていかなければならないと思います。
